Paul, I'm going to tell you one thing about what you're doing. And it's not about the money or the popularity or fan fair. It's you being the leader of your family and giving great guidance to all the young men you got over there. The things you are doing for those youngsters will be some of the best memories they will ever have. I grew up without a father, so I can attest how important you are to your family. Keep up the great work, brother.

It’s easy to tell how much Paul likes Hunter. It feels like he’s become another son to him now and treats him just like his own. I had uncles who treated me this way when I was his age, and it was special and I still have great memories of working with them and them teaching me stuff and helping me fix my stuff while teasing me a bit along the way. Hunter is a lucky guy and will appreciate it someday even more than he’ll know.

As an older Dad just wanted to say thanks for taking all the younger guys under your lift, as others have said your teaching them lifelong skills and understanding. Today’s kids just don’t have the shop and automotive desire that my generation had and it’s good to see you showing the ones around you the ups and downs of car stuff. And also keeping some family fun stuff mixed in. Well done Fab Rats and Paul.

Professional video productions take months, years and occasionally decades. If you have media to run through and never ever show it. It's entirely up to you. Throwing something together only works if you're making a mud castle. Pretty sure most of us enjoy your content no matter the situation. Hope some day you have enough content that you can take an extended vacation. Most Influencers don't seem to understand how to manage time properly. Hunter needs to get some big rig training. Mirrors are on vehicles for a purpose. Of course that's kind of why ground guides are used. So love the absence of expletives. They just grate on the senses. Thank You so much for using proper safety equipment. Welding Helmet, gloves and smock. It's so easy when you get into the habit of using proper PPE. Very satisfying to watch.😃

I have been enjoying taking it off road here in PA at off road parks like AOAA and Rausch Creek. My Jeep came with a Hardtop and recently found my OEM Soft top on Craigslist. Nice magnetic flashlight. Have fun off roading on your trip in CA. Great videos as usual.

Hunter when trying to loosen a hex head bolt/plug like the oil plug try using a six point wrench or socket. That way there is less of a chance of rounding the head off. Also if you use a socket you can use a long breaker bar so you don't have to risk bruising your hands or sacrificing some flesh when the wrench slips off. You have a great project there. I look forward to see how it comes along.

I think keeping the build simple is the way to go. The Mopar V6 makes plenty of power for wheeling, and with some upgrades, the stock axles can handle 35s or 37s. A mild build will be much easier to keep reliable than doing an engine and axle swap.

Hey Paul you need to bleed the coolant system on a jk after changing the thermostat if not the air bubble will destroy them, I changed mine and my dads 3 times before figuring it out. Now the only time our fan turns on it’s up hill any other time it doesn’t need it

@thefabrats don't forget thatMethod race wheels are the best wheels you can buy for any vehicle (buy 5 so you can have a matching spare) and BFGoodrich has amazing tires but the procomp extreme mt2 tires are also extremely amazing tires

Jeep might hold together for a while. Good idea to swap it onto 1 ton axles, the Jeep front ball joint system no good. First thing we used to do for our drivers was to block out the back window so they were forced to learn to back up with the side mirrors - doesn't take long before you can back up as fast as reverse gear will let you.

If you don't already have this as merch you need a T-shirt with your logo and on the chest area print ths in LARGE letters "IT'S GOING TO BE FINE" or "I THINK IT'S GOING TO BE FINE" as an alternative! I would buy one in a heart beat!

When I get a bolt like that oil drain plug, I use a nice ratchet handle with a nice round comfortable grip that I can apply pressure to without hurting my hand.

I did a LS swap to a jk Rubicon 10 years ago. It was a pain. The gauge cluster is a control module for all lights and wipers. Probably some other stuff that I don't remember. It was a better rig after, though.

Awesome I just bolt in a 5.3 into a 2008 jk with ebay engine mounts. I cannot believe how easy it is to do. I’m using a AX15 trans for Now but the transfer case bolted right up and drive shaft bolt in with no mods yet

I used to own a 2001 jeep tj, it was a very little known edition called the "Cilli Pepper" edition. The only thing special about those jeeps was the red color, "chilli pepper red", and a numbered plate on the center console. Your jeep is basically the same color, so you could call it the Chili Pepper!
