It's good to be back here! We missed the place these past few months. It's been a busy few weeks hiring contractors and figuring out what needs to be done, but things are starting to fall into place. El árbol de los monos is gone - the branches broke under their own weight. We'll always have those memories. And there will be other monkey trees for Sebi and Eloise to play on when they visit. 💛

Seeing the Halifax Mooseheads hat; I have to wonder if Sam picked that up in the Halifax area over the summer (maybe prior to Fiona). Probably a doppelganger thing, but a shaggy hair and beard(ed) guy caused me to stop and have another look while I was out for a walk..... Great to see the property being revealed. Having built a house myself, and managed home renovations I can understand the challenges with trades. Cheers!

Hey guys, we’re here in Buenos Aires. We just got back from a week long trip from El Calafate and Ushuaia (thanks to you, we ate ate some awesome restaurants and did some super fun stuff). We were just watching some videos in our AirBNB and saw the Argentina T-shirts that have HUMITA, LOCRO, FACTURAS, FERNET, MATE, ASADO, MALBEC, etc on them. We’ve looked everywhere and HAVE even been to all the feries. WHERE CAN WE FIND THEM? Thank you. Can’t wait to see the chalet and hotel done.

It's amazing to see the progress you guys have been making on your property. One day my wife and I will have to visit. I got back from my trip to the Baltic states a little over a week ago. I was in Riga, Latvia where I helped Ukrainian refugees and also in Tartu, Estonia seeing family and friends. My wife and I have some plans concerning moves in that direction, so it's cool to see you guys getting back to your roots cause that's what we are planning for the Baltic states.

The channel is called 'Arquitecto Marcelo Seia'. His videos have been super helpful. Take roofing for example - he'll talk about the different options you have and then share the pros and cons for each and help you decide which is better. I've been binging his videos lately!

We're 3 hours from the big city by bus, 2 hours if we had a car...which we don't! But we do have the equivalent of a small corner shop in the village, and then the next real supermarket is in another town 30 mins away. So we stock up when we go grocery shopping!
