Josh was given WAY to much responsibility, way to much work, way to little support. Mike Shanahan was fired for his poor GM decisions and then you turn around and give the same responsibility to a 32 year old. It was stupid on behalf of Bowlen, but it was probably the time where he illness started to have a major impact. The HC Josh gave us one of the best drafts in 2010 and that was the core of the team up to the 2013 SB run. Tebow was rough but Josh saw predicted that he could be a effective QB. Too bad that Elway gave him one of the worst HCs for the task of developing young QBs. Tebow is the only young QB that has been around Fox that has not failed outright

Just once. The Rams also had one drive, but the Patriots made that one huge play, and Jason McCourty made all the difference. Imagine if he doesn't cover all that ground, we'd probably be watching a video of McVay giving a breakdown of the Goff to Cooks TD pass.
@crucisnh
4 жыл бұрын
For what it's worth, one might consider that running the same play three times in a row is its own form of creativity. After all, most teams wouldn't expect the offensive team to run the same play twice in a row, or worse, dare to run it three times in a row. So, it's almost a case of the most unexpected play being the one you ran the previous play.
@CDX7
4 жыл бұрын
crucisnh I mean they also had different people on the field, hit a different player each time based on the defense, and flipped the formation. Same play but... not really. Goes to show the level the Pats are on vs everybody else. This is also a good demo of why Brady is so elite. It only works because he’s on the same page even with on the fly adjustments.
These two men talking bout football and how to adjust on the fly in game and find ways to create mismatches is pure genius. It truly shows that there is levels to this stuff.

Tony Romo (about Brady after the TD): "It's 4th quarter and it's money time for the greatest guy that ever suited up" .
This shows one of the differences between Pat's and other teams. Ab, obj, or other receivers would be like "how am I not in the game so close to the end zone just throw it up I got it" meanwhile Edelman gets told to be ready and hes like "run it in" because all hes thinking about is that W.

Welcome to the Raiders coach McDaniels!
Thank yous guys so very much!
Before the game, Belichick and Rams' coach McVay are chatting and pleasantries are exchanged. McVay harps on how impressed he is with the Patriots ability to change their identity from game to game. I always find remarks like this very interesting. The opposition knows what you're capable of and still can't do enough to win it. No one on the planet saw a 13-3 score going into this game. To me this is the sort of thing that cements Belichick as THE man in the football world. His influence is pervasive. Getting anyone to understand where you're coming from is not that difficult. Getting them to understand then implement with precision when it changes from week to week is that whole other level. This video is a great example of Belichick's abilities being told through Josh McDaniels. Great stuff!
LFG!!!! Coach MC you’re gonna lead us back to greatness.💯😤🏴☠️
Those plays from gronk, absolute animal
This is ART right here.
And now you know why they're the best.
I love getting a peek behind the Pats' iron curtain. I could listen to McDaniels and/or Belichick talk about football till 2021
Nothing better than a defense game, two defense masterminds playing strategy after strategy. Not a lot of scores but a thrilling game.
Everyone thought this game was boring, but it wasn't. It was a master class in play calling, both teams were so good on defense but the Pats were just better.
That is why this years Superbowl was actually a really good game. 2 great head coaches, good coordinators, 2 good defences and 2 good offenses. Wasn't going to be a high scoring game because these guys had 2 weeks to figure each other out. A handful of really really great plays in the situation made all the diference.
Who came here after been hired by raiders?? 🤯🤔🤔
I’m that type of Raider fan that looks back at these videos now that McDaniels is HC for us. I dive deep lol

Playoffs vs Ravens....they throw in some ineligible RB plays and outsmart the opposing coaching staff. Super Bowl vs Rams (first one) they accept giving up the big plays to the Greatest Show but they smack the WRs after the catch. The strategy works. Just really impressed by the versatility, gumption and execution of this squad in the last couple decades.
