Hello there! I don't know what your original nationality was. I don't care. You came to this country and INTEGRATED. That is you respected our native values and adopted them. That is TRUE immigration. The problem occurs when foreigners arrive and insist on forcing THEIR values and beliefs onto the indigenous people. THAT is the cause of hate and resentment. Anyone coming to this country and accepting our values and way of life BECOMES BRITISH. That doesn't mean you can't have different views and ideas. Our culture is tolerant enough that we all can discuss these differences freely. Please don't say that I would hate you simply because you came to live here from a different country. People should be judged by their deeds and actions. There are a small proportion of native born British that I would instantly dislike. That is solely down to their character and deeds. I am sure you suffered discrimination from a proportion of native born citizens. Unfortunately, that is part of human nature and some will actively show it. It sounds as if you made a choice to BECOME BRITISH. To me, that MAKES YOU BRITISH. The increasing conflict surrounding immigration is that the majority DON'T WANT TO BECOME BRITISH. They want the advantages WITHOUT THE OBLIGATIONS. You have embraced Britain, but I can guarantee that if you have visible "foreign" characteristics, you still experience discrimination from some. Yep I can sadly believe it sadly. I live in a nice area in South East leafy London but when I've been a mile or two into the city all I see are Asian Muslim and black school kids. I never see white English school kids in the city.😢 I know a school teacher fro my church (white English) and she is the head of a school that is 70% Muslim in NW London !! 😬😩

Thats the problem right there not voting for conservative or labour is not relevant in ireland those parties don't exist in the republic of ireland infact they don't exist really in NI either.In ireland the parties we have to vote out are fianna fail ,Fine gael,sinn fein ,irish labour,social democrats, and People before profit(sorry puberty).Besides its a bigger thing than Uk and ireland its all over europe.I feel sorry for the people in the Uk because you lack certain things that the ordinary electorate can use,proportional representation and a written constitution ammendable only by public vote.While i don't believe ireland should be in the EU we can send MEPs in the mold of farage along with other Eurosceptic parties help dismantle the EU.You were dead right to leave however the EU is still there and while it remains we are all in peril.
