NL completely missing the Superposition early when he already had two synergistic Jokers, only to find it again on the second to last shop, just to say "I wish we had this earlier" is peak NL

Specializing in one type of hand seems to be the key to winning, especially when you get to that late-game boss that only lets you play one.

The secret power of four fingers is how much easier it makes flush variant hands (straight flush, royal flush, flush five) easier to hit as these hands have massive base scoring

Cant wait for NL to discover Vagabond Credit card combo, goes crazy

So I just had my best run with a very nice Straight combo jokers. 1. +1 mult for every hand played (had like 40-50 by the end) 2. Copy leftmost joker (another 40-50 mult) 3. Straight/Flush now need 4 cards 4. Straight can skip a rank to work 5. Even cards add mult (forgot how much) Had lvl5 straight at the end too. And a bunch of buffed 9s, 10s, and Qs due to duplicating the already buffed ones (each with +chips and +mult, 20 and 10 or respectively, or something like that). I was getting like 60k+ per straight. And like 3k-5k just from playing a random high card. I just played high cards to get more permanent mult for the two jokers and finished with a single straight. I might have some of the details wrong, still not a balatro expert lol

@sergnb0 He's lost runs before with Obelisk. IMO Obelisk incentives the player to not take good hands if it's given to you too many times. This run, he was given flushes so he took the flushes

@@Psycho5275 obelisk is just a “build around” archetype, if you play it badly it can screw you and if you play it properly it Carries like crazy. The run he lost with obelisk was absolutely his fault, he choked it like crazy when he was managing it pretty great until then. There’s not many jokers in the demo that can give you a 3x mult and all of them require you to play around them. Obelisk is one of the easier ones to manage.

In my life of watching streamers and KZreadrs. Nothernlion and JonCJG are only streamers "youtubers" i support. Ive given JOHNCJG (fellow canadian as well as old school machinima creator) money just because i know hes at bottom and didnt start it nor got wealthy from youtube or his content. I wont give Nothernlion money because i know he's wealthy as sense of lot of people give him donations already and has a house as well as lives in Canada in a very above average way but one of the 2 only streamers id say i support and enjoy his content as well as very knowledgeable in lot of things which so many streamers lack as well as knows how to be humble.
