Navid Namini not really. Only two or three players he bought could make it in the first team. And if you mean Rashford, LvG only used him because of injuries and there was literally no one else

Water Warrior You idiot..at least he brought back that fear factor against big teams..in Moyes era big teams pounded us home and away.. in his era.beat Liverpool home and away twice.. avoided defeat againstchelsea at occasions and hammered city giving us hope that we still a big team.. if we avoided bore draws against the lesser sides..we could be a recon..mourinho came in when united are not as weak wen Moyes left.. Moyes made Everton dominate us at old Trafford ...not to say city and Liverpool

He played boring football. All fancy passing and then ass soon as we got near the box we just passed it around meaninglessly. There's a reason why we came 5th in a season when Leicester City won the league. Granted they were good that season, but that was because of a lack of big teams including us. How did Liverpool and Arsenal get above us? I thought he brought back the fear factor? No, he may have done it for the big games but did jack-shit against smaller teams. He also dragged off after the start of the season. Basically he's a Dutch Jurgen Klopp. He also got us out of the champions league very fast. But I thought you said he brought back the fear factor? No, the small teams in the champions league defended and sat back while we did nothing, and the slightly bigger teams destroyed us. We don't even know what would have happened with the PSGs and Barcelonas because we never got that far anyway. Also why didn't he buy any good players? He had an open checkbook essentially and bought shit. Fair enough he bought Di Maria and Falcao but his unimaginative football sidelined Di Maria and when he couldn't perform he was dropped for the whole fucking season. I don't really blame him for leaving. LvG also failed the simple task, for a club like Man United, of finishing in the champions league. He may have got level with Man City in 4th but they were above us because of goal difference, another way of showing his boring style of football.

Any true football fan will admit that LvG actually did a phenomenal job at laying foundations for United's revival. Before criticising his second season. Do you realize that he had to play with all reserves in almost 5-6 positions in the playing XI and still smashing every top 6 teams.!! The recruits he brought were already injured. Trust me if Schweinsteiger had stayed fit throughout that season, we could have won the League for sure.
