After the longest trip, we made it HOME last night, in a zombie-like state. We started unpacking, then we thought the whole family was gonna sleep for a month. Fast forward to 3:30 in the morning, we were all awake, starting our first and second breakfast, since everything is so incredibly delicious. By the time the sun started making things bright, Marco and the adventurous Martina were already in their bathing suits, listening to steel-drum tunes, watching the seagulls fish and finally saying hi to the Sicilian sea.
This sense of peace, the beauty and wonders all around us, are something I will always seek when I’m away from it.
