hi, half japanese listener here! i'm not sure if anyone's interested, but i live in tokyo and our earthquake alarm system is pretty accurate. sometimes we don't get an alarm for the smaller ones (we have multiple earthquakes every day lol), but usually the alert is anywhere from one minute to a few seconds prior to the actual shake! I've always assumed some earthquakes are easier to predict than others, but it's definitely interesting!!!

17:40 this story reminds me of when I ran into Ninja in League of Legends solo queue last year. I ran into him at 3AM and we got placed on the same team in like Plat Elo.
