Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the #travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this #travelvlog to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling! So we extended our 1 year trip to now FOUR years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

I’m Bhutanese. I’ll translate what the man said to Kara at 1:21 “I got my shots and went to pick up my medicines,” then he turned to Nate and said, “Sir” which is him greeting him in typical friendly Bhutanese fashion. At 5:56 the man in the back said, “oh he can pull pretty well.” This is a complement to Nate as most novice or beginners (typically foreigners who try archery) can barely cross the threshold of the back target. Great video guys! I’m very pleased watching this while I’m a several thousand miles away from my native land.

Bhutan is not like Iceland of Asia. Bhutan has a dark past, that they don't wanna talk about. They are trying to hide the truth with some good deeds. Bhutan is like the Nazi party in a alternate universe, were the Nazi party won and killed alle of the Jews. I'm referring to the 100.000 people they cleansed/ethnic cleansing, raped and falsely imprisoned. This is a quotes: In this world, wherever there is light - there are also shadows. As long as the concept of winners exists, there must also be losers. The selfish desire of wanting to maintain peace causes wars.

Those men are the landowners all tall healthy keeping the serfs in place . #7:32 you see the real working ppl the serf peasants thin , shorter from all the work and malnutrition. This is a sponsored video 📹, why do you think Bhutan doesn't allow tourists to go alone its because there is a great injustice that needs to be hidden. Trust me I know this feudalistic village life I've been a guest with my father at these great landowners estates in Asia let's just say the lords dog lives better than the peasants. They don't own their own their Time Land Freedom of movement Its like they are living in 1066 Europe.

I love watching videos like this where you get to experience local life! It’s the polar opposite of what most Americans are used too. Really makes you think about your own life and appreciate certain things that you have. For me, it kind of makes me wish my life was as “simple” as theirs. Anytime I see raw and local places like this the people look genuinely more happy. I wouldn’t mind having that!

The very coincidence facts are I am still a woman now, really likes spicy foods (spicy is my key taste), I was born to have Dragon sign (dragon year definitely) in chinese horoscope and my family (especially my grandmother) always attached me with "dragon things" since early age, I love animals, especially mammals like dogs, cats, even tigers 😅... Funny fact: i have never try or face anything about archery, but i always curious, and think that archery is a cool sport... I don't know.. I just knew and searched about bhutan after that man who told me about my past life since two years ago... This man is a kriya yoga guru... And I found facts that "booommm" me (I don't know how to say it 😅) Just sharing, you don't have to believe that... But i have told what that man told to me

This was so fun to watch! I was surprised by the fact that the structure and the organisation of the house is very similar to what it was like for poor people in central Sardinia 50 years ago (even about the bathroom situation). I think it's cool how in completely different parts of the world you can find similarities

You walk pass through that gate and you instantly know you are in another country, heck another realm. Their civic sense and culture is a pure gift to the Himalayas.
