And it's finally here! "We Just Wanna Play Toono" is a project that took approximately 9 months from start to finish to complete. I look at this project as a "one in a million", not only due to its quality being the likes we don't often see in the Toontown community, but also due to the production being possible in the first place. The stars all aligned in such a way that my best friend, Henry Reynolds (Animation Director) was free to dedicate most of this year to leading the animation team, when he is usually booked. Furthermore, DuckingtonFinch (Lead Writer) was willing to take this parody idea that he conceptualized and was open to collaborating with me and the rest of the WJWPT Team. We rapidly expanded upon the concept into something truly special, especially thanks to the wonderful vocal talents of our cast. I hope you all enjoy this project as much as I do, as so much love and care went into every single frame of this production.

This is an incredible animation. It looks so lively the whole way through. It must have taken a very long time to make this. It's great to see such passion put into Toontown projects in this day and age, almost ten years after the expiration date. Excellent job to all those involved.
Holy shit this is the best piece of Toontown content I think I've ever seen. I've watched it 5 times already.
So grateful to have collaborated on this giant project with so many talented people. I'm sincerely honored to be a part of this. And I hope everyone enjoys this love letter to Toontown, as much as we enjoyed crafting it together. ♥

How long does it take you all to put all the animation and the parody song altogether; just to create it them all in one project? I honestly didn't know you all can sing, you all sound so phenomenal!💕 -💖Mish💖

@@mishkaboobaheart5227 Hi Mish, Thank you for your kind words! I had so much fun singing! The entire project took about 9 month (A Toono baby, I know). It was SUPER ambitious! I also lead up writing the lyrics for the parody alongside Tucker - which was so hilarious and a blast to be a part of. I believe it took a couple months to finalize lyrics. And then recording the vocals was a CRAZY logisitical process that Tucker had to coordinate while also directing all of us singers. It's pretty crazy to record everything remotely apart from each other and make it work so seamlessly. I know Tucker has a LOT more stuff to share about the behind the scenes, so subscribe for more on that! We're all so honored by the response! ♥

I love how deranged Stuck looks at points. And the way his and Finch’s bills are animated keep the look of ducks but are still so expressive. And there’s so many little details like the face print on the table or the way the cogs were drawn in that brief clip. They all look so good

Just wanted to say, as someone who has never heard of this project before and was expecting something more animatic-like, I'm pleasantly surprised! The characters are very expressive and there's some very fun creative choices with the animation! Well done animators!

This is such a good example of a well written parody! You stayed so true to the original whilst making it something new entirely. “We don’t talk about Bruno” is not an easy song to parody. Amazing job on every aspect of this video!

I need to draw attention to the interactions between Finch & Nickeljinks/Toria, the facial expressions on Nickeljinks & everything… how that’s depicted is truly how so many interactions go with Finch and it’s hilarious to see animated. Love this video :)
