I’m 74 and I remember neighbours looking out for and helping each other. Today the farms are larger, each farm has all their own equipment so each farmer is more independent. The Amish and you living among them have retained that same neighbourly way of life. Good to see.

I loved the bounce bale. As soon as I saw that I thought he knows how to throw hay. I remember stukking hay, piling on the wagon and stacking in the mow. You learn quickly how to throw hay. The Shetlers you say. Northern new York sounds like Huevelton area and likely grandchildren or great grandchildren to Ben Shetler who I remember from the Chesley Ontario area. Ben was a very fine man. My wife and I looked him up in 03 or 04. We had a nice visit with him in his harness shop. We later heard he passed away a month or so later.

I 💛 the sound of walking 🐴 . They sound like they're wearing shoes. R they? R 2 🐴 don't have shoes. We have a quarter 🐴, ( Buddy) & a mustang. Montana aka Tanner. He was captured in Nevada. (U can take the 🐴 from the wild, u can't take the wild from the 🐴) The best 🐴ive ever had. I've learned so much from him. Haha sorry I can't help telling another pple about them. It's so nice of u 2 gift ur new neighbor with hey. I know how much it is. What do u feed ur 🐴s. (Always looking 4 things 2 try {4 a change}) Also Thx so _much_ 2 u & everyone whe works with u, "long distance hugs 🤗 Stay safe, stay strong,Stay same. 💜👏🏻🙏

Yes the horses are wearing shoes. Glad you enjoy your horses so much, they are beautiful animals. We feed our horses hay and straight oats. Stay safe!

@@WorkingHorsesWithJimr the clues? They see 2 small 4 perch. we feed alfalfa hey, Bumudada hey, rolled oats, sweet feed (as a treat),corn, bran. & of course pasture grass. They can choose 2 be in the or not (usually don't). @ night we put small alfalfa piles all around the pasture 4 them 2 find duringthe night. We like 2 give them choice. We also have 2 water "holes". One of them heated. ❤ talking 🐴. I'm grateful 4 everything ù do not just now but always.
