I’m a giants fan, and it’s more about the sport that we love, not the team we love. I am forever grateful to be 23 and hear a part of his legacy. I am very hurt right now, as this guy was a irreplaceable example of purity and humbleness. You will be remembered Vin!

Never will be a better announcer than Scully. He knew when to talk and when silence was more powerful and he did his homework for every game better than anyone before or now. Used to take a small radio when camping in the Boy Scouts to quietly listen to him call games in my tent even though radios were not allowed. His ability to bounce between a story from 1959 and the current game without missing a beat made the games so much more enjoyable. Will be missed for sure. RIP.
