Hi Jamie. I have a BMW question if you can help me. My friend has a 3 series with a N43B20AY engine with a faulty crankshaft. He menaged to find a brand new N43B20AB and bought it without realising that it wasn't commonrail injection like the one in his car. Is it possible just to swap out the heads on these 2 engine blocjs? We don't have much usefull info from the local BMW service, and we don't want to tear down the new engine to compare the block and internals. Please help 😅

@@BoliMeKurac good question. I’m not entirely sure either. When I want to answer a question like that, I usually will check out realoem.com. There you can pull up each engine and compare part numbers. You can see if the block, timing case cover, engine harness, etc are the same for engines. Hope this helps. Good luck

A1 mechanic if I lived in FL I would absolutely have this gentleman take care of all my cars. You can just tell how attention to detail this shop and shop owner is. Prestige service for prestige vehicles. From my Audi to yours. TY Jamie for all the hard work.

Your shop is really clean and well organized, lucky you have such a big place. It is important to take care of those kinds of cars, they will not be there forever... Perhaps your G Wagon customer should use a battery tender to keep his battery charged.

So many Mercedes! It's no wonder they were recently ranked one of the most unreliable car brands 👀 But the work environment genuinely looks so chill! The guys also seem like they love what they are doing with a fantastic manager!

Not sure what you’re talking about, my 2012 cls550 has been solid for 111k miles. They’re bulletproof if you take care of them. Plus most of the maintenance they’re doing is wear and tear items.

I’m sure they don’t want their pay revealed but it depends on a few things like experience, certification, efficiency etc. A good tech at my shop can expect to make 80k to 140k

3 codes lock can be solved easily

the combo is changed with every customer and the keys are typically in there for about a hour or two after we close. We've never had a problem and hopefully we never will.
