My man spends basically this entire game with no socks on, I feel bad for running around so much when I played this

I love how unapologetically British this game is; so many games present English stereotypes in a way where it’s more mocking than practical, but this? It’s perfect, from the unnecessary swearing to the simplicities of saying hello when you pass people (which DOES happen in the smaller cities/towns). I can almost ignore the number of tea references- (though in one scene where they say ‘It’s time for tea’, I feel as though they meant food.) Also, the addition of Scottish and Welsh characters, which aid in leading the plot? Yes, please. All-round, this game is excellent.

I agree, that is one of the best scenes in the entire game. The song is called "Not a Crime to Smile." and it just feels like a movie scene- but you're playing it. Escaping one of the worse situations possible with upbeat music in the background.

I think that's because the policeman's conscience finally kicked in and he felt guilt for sending those kids to Germany against their own will. That's basically the policeman saving Arthur from going to that train.

I like the Bobby's helmets have lights where the medals are

my favorite story in the game. mostly due to the gameplay as Arthur is very sold and more fun. that and he has a chance to get with sally. but i thought i would play the whole game with him, but his story just ends with a major cliff hanger very disappointing.

27:07-You know your game is a little borked when the people going out of their way to make Cutscene Movie style videos like the Jak games had recordings of have to deal with really wonky bugs like this.

No we actually do Arthur was ment to be sent to Germany to a death camp His brother Percy was not,so his mother sent Percy with Arthur to take him to the train leading to Germany. Arthur acted like he was Percy and decided to let Percy to the death camp. Percy died in a concentration camp

Arthur was the worst out of all three of them imo. Percy was not even ten feet away from him, screaming and begging for him not to leave. He probably didn't even understand what Arthur was actually doing. Sally was a victim of grooming and he was angry at her for that, not his dad who lied to a child about loving her after his wife died. And Ollie did a terrible thing but Margaret wasn't his daughter and many people sell out their neighbors during war. Not saying that makes what Ollie did okay or right, but betraying your own kin to save yourself is far worse than anything Sally or Ollie did. Enjoyed his story even if I think he's shit.

His chapter is his punishment. Sally is, imo, the worst. Arthur committed his sins when he was a kid, he clearly regrets it and wants to save his brother. Sally is selfish and manipulative. She lies and takes pride in manipulating men. And the thing that makes her wise? She is continually making her mistakes, while Arthur made his mistakes when he was a child.

Honestly he isn't a good person, and that's why I personally think his story is my favorite of the 3. Showing remorse for something that happened in the past and attempting to make amends and better yourself is imo the greatest form of atoning. Whomever you wronged previously isn't obligated nor required to forgive you but if you make the effort to change and become better, both of you can move on and prevent yourself from doing awful things again. Arthur is a piece of shit, but I like him because he's aware of what he's done and spends the whole game trying to better himself and find his brother to make amends. He could stop at any point, he could give up and stay in his delusions, but he doesn't. You might not be able to change the past, and you may not have been a good person before, but people can change, provided they want to put in the effort. You can only start fixing the problem if you are aware there is a problem in the first place. One of the best things you can do to redeem yourself imo is change shitty behavior and try to make amends. So many people prefer to ignore it or continue to be shitty, thinking they're in the right, to actually change that can't be easy. Even if whom you try to make amends with doesn't want to forgive you, that's okay, they don't need to, not everyone gets a happy ending. But at least now, you'll never repeat that same harm to somebody else in the future. "Life, goes on.. that, is the mercy." We can all move on, but it's choosing to change and better ourselves that makes us redeemable. Just my two cents.

I mean it does depend on the memories you get and in the end Aurther finds out who he is and goes on to try and find Percy (assuming you don’t pick to forget in the end choice) but the endings worth depends on your choice at the end that is determined by your memory count. Also I’m half asleep so please forgive any spelling mistakes and terrible wording

In the good ending you get a choice to pop a joy and forget Percy and your entire adventure or you can deny the joy and go on to find Percy if you do the ladder you get a special scene where Aurther is traveling looking for Percy while doing this he finds a child who looks like Percy other than that the ending is pretty open ended

The writing is like WTF. Why all of a sudden is he choosing to become a downer???!!! It’s such lazy writing. Dang such potential too. Could’ve been like BRAVE New world mixed with an element of horror. Smfh. Wanna be ass V for vendetta 1980 brave new world game. :((( could’ve been so cool it hurts knowing how good it could’ve been. The "other dude" is his brother he sees a newspaper clip that reminds him of what he did and it finally breaks him. It's not very explicitly said but throughout the game you learn more but arthur and it seems like this has been nagging at him for a long time he just finally had the courage to do something. The game isn't perfect game play wise but the story characters and writing are great in my opinion.
