I like that, life is part of dog ownership!

We have been in our current home for 21 years, and it is all setup for Aussies now. We are in a drought here, and when I am out watering trees and such, I watch my dogs at play and having a fenced in yard where they can run and be safe is worth more than you know. Before we fenced in our yard, our first Aussie was attacked by a neighbor dog, and after the second attempt by that dog on my Aussie, we spent the money to fence in about 3 acres. Now with our current pair of Aussies, they have more than enough room to wear themselves out everyday.

I love your dogs.....I mostly watch because I walk a friend's dog and I have fallen in love. When I can't see the dog....I google your channel and get my fix of Aussie's. You're always right on the mark with your dogs. I do let the dog jump on me when I arrive and express herself....and I totally give in and respond with the same energy cuz l love that about her. They are beyond remarkable companions.....they are the best of companions. Cheers and Thanks.

Ceilings should always be white or very light compared to the walls. This expands the space.

The floor boards do lighten. Your dad is right about stirring up the various boards vs keeping same tones together. It will age wonderfully.

I enjoyed watching your channel especially after I lost my Aussie. It was tough but Frankie reminded .me of her so much. Later friends arranged for me to get a rescue mini Aussie. She is more like Indie in personality but more demanding of attention. She is a regular cuddle bug. You help people to understand the special demands associated with Aussies so hopefully there will be less rescue Aussies. Too many people buy these dogs because of their beauty and intelligence without understanding the commitment required.

hahaha this brings me back to the days that we where renovating and had workers over to do stuff. You never know when things are getting done or when they are coming over. So chaotic ;) And yessss drywall is da bom :P I know what you mean with the energy of a wooden floor. It let your own energy flow better. And it is also way warmer and softer on the feet. Which is very nice in winter. Beautiful floor btw :D it's fine that you make doggless video's right now. Sometimes life goes different than planned. This is how moving with doggs can be. You're showing your life and most of us can relate. I think it's fun to watch :)

House stuff is cool, it helps mix things up and ultimately it's part of your life with the dogs so why not include it. Interested to see if you do any custom dog features, like a mini room of their own (converted closet?) or mini patio of their own outside.

I missed your videos - so glad you're back! I watch the videos for the pups but I equally watch it for you and Angelica. Congrats on the new home - it looks so bright and the backyard is a dog's delight lol. You seem really handy and I'll bet that saved a ton of money. Indie loves you a bunch and that's a long stride given her prior fear of men. To me, that's a testament as to how you love and treat her. So cool.

I've been a subscriber for maybe two years now. I realize life happens, and you haven't put out many videos, but I don't seem to get notifications when they do. I checked, and I have my notifications turned on. Great seeing y'all and the dogs. Congrats on the new house.

I started watching cause I got an Aussie puppy and didn’t know if I could handle it, you grounded and reassured me so much in those early days. And then I just loved seeing all four of you. Pilot (our Aussie) was the last piece of completing our home after a full back to the bones renovation, so although I’ve no vids for you to watch, perhaps I can return some of that grounding you gave me in the mad Aussie puppy days, if you can handle that you can handle everything this house has for you. And weirdly just like the dog, it gives back what you put in and changes your life and steadies you and gives you love right back. I look forward to seeing more

Thank you for having this channel we just lost our family pet jimbo he was a beautiful blue Merle Aussie he actually looked like Frankie he was my sons dog and we have been watching him since my son got him so he is like my baby too he was 4 years old and got spooked over our neighbors fireworks this 4th it actually happened the 2nd July my neighbor never does fireworks I ran out side to see them for a min I was busy making food for the 4 th he got spooked and ran off we searched for 3 days and found him he had been hit by a car we are devastated we were thinking me and my husband of getting a pup from his litter when the other Aussie my son has got pregnant but now that’s not going to happen can you give me any tips on we’re you got Frankie my son got jimbo from a friend

It was honestly the only way to find a home that we actually truly loved vs just buying someone else's renovation so I am happy with this

@Frankie To The Moon we didn't have movers, and we moved from NC to IL. My mom, me, grandmother, and 2 dogs. A very packed large U-haul and small car. It took a couple of months before we had everything put away in the right places. Lol, good luck, and your home is looking very nice.

I’m on board with this becoming a house reno channel for a while. I think the thing I love the most about your channel is how real you are with your reality. So keep em coming!

Did you have experience in the trades before? Or are you just good at learning and getting good at new things fast? Like figuring Aussies out before they bamboozle you first!😉

ahah Frank's still bamboozles me everyday! I am more in the tech field but growing up with my father being a contractor, I was his helping hand on a lot of job sites so I have done my fair share of learning. With that being said, we would not be able to have accomplished this without him
