We had some issues with New Skinny Guy Camper

We spent 4 nights in New Mexico staying in a different National Forest each night. We got caught in an unexpectedly heavy snow event. Our power and heating system shut down and we had to make some decisions. This is a more in depth video and discussion on how the Skinny Guy Camper performed in below freezing temperatures and how we have made some adjustments from our Roof Top Tent set up. Beautiful camp sites and stunning snow covered moutons and forests at every turn.

You guys should look at using a diesel heater. The heater uses next to no fuel plus it doesn’t create condensation.

The Skinny Guy comes with a propane heater/water heater with the Kit & Caboodle trim level. We were looking at a diesel heater with our RTT and have heard good things. I appreciate your insight!

Cool video… How long have you had your SG? Have you had anymore problems? We love ours. But have had a few problems also, so far was able to fix myself. Donovan and Jason has been so helpful! Are you on Instagram?

Hi and thanks for watching! We have only had the SG for about three months. Mostly small issues like the table absorbing water and swelling and a few other fit and trim stuff. My biggest concern is the battery system shutting down when we hit abut 45%. That could be a sign of a battery going bad. I'd love to hear about your experience with the SG. Just started Instagram...Geigerlander Let me know and I'll give you a follow back.
