Matt is the sweetest gentlemen and always anticipates people's needs, and he sees a need and acts on it. What a guy! Kayla is a vivacious lovely girl and so polite to everyone, always makes lovely conversation to lift people up.

That match holder used to hang by the gas stove and used the bigger matches. They would strike it right on the iron of the holder & light the stove. I used to have one I kept next to a wood stove.

I just sold one of the cast iron matchboxes, it was bigger than this one. I remember seeing them in my Grandmother's house. She used it on a daily basis to light the gas burners. Lots of interest in them for vintage homes. The little round thing with 2 holes in each side, I'd say a planter. The holes would be for hanging cords.

Grew up with my Dad, buying and reselling all as a side hustle. I’ve done some thru the yrs, now trying to do the reselling online. Caught up with your videos Kayla and love to watch! Great info as always, ❤ them all & now with Matt! ❤. Yard sales are picking up now in WI!! Can’t wait til next Thursday!😊

Kayla said "manly" about ty cards & I'm reminded of a radio skit I heard over 30 years ago when I worked at a Mr. Tuxedo warehouse as a final inspector -- FUN DAYZ!! Anywho, it was called "The Manly Man" -- then years later another station had a skit called "In the Mind of a Woman" -- both were hillarious most days, now I'm wondering if I can find them out there somewhere ... Oh you left the match holder, we always had wooden matches in ours. The bowl made of cards were popular in the 50s. I would have had a hard time choosing items in this sale, it all reminded me of my childhood.
