Hands down the BEST yard sale I’ve ever seen! That lady has the coolest shit. I want to know her story.

I agree with everyone else, that first sale was amazing! When you were checking out, those 2 gum ball machines filled with marbles would have come home with me… looking at everything she had, they were probably older or vintage marbles, some of which can go for quite a bit of money. I could have hung out with her all day just talking and listening 😂

That lady knew about the volcano. Matt is well acquainted too 😆

That first sale was one of the best sales I’ve ever seen, quality and price wise.I woulda for sure grabbed a large bulk of it. ☺️ Especially the beveled glass jewelry box. Hope you had fun!

You could have bought a lot more at that first sale. She really had quality items. And, skipped the rest of the sales, and spent the rest of the day having fun sight seeing. Although, I love the crocheted coats !!

Yikes on the granny square jackets. I sit in my crafts groups and hear the horror stories of crafters goods selling at yard sales and estates. I like the more expensive yarns and a large project cost me no less than $100 for a big project. That jacket was gorgeous on you Kayla. Glad to hear old designs are a trend now. The best to you and Matt.❤

Absolutely loved those knitted jackets. My husband and I went to Arizona for the first time this pas summer. Beautiful, beautiful Sedona is a place you should visit. Photos and words cannot express how beautiful. The drive on Route 87 up to Flagstaff is a winding scenic wonder of nature! As you said, it is a place like nothing you’ve experienced.

I love it you both found each other and share interest. ❤ I have always done resell I hot my husband into it I loved it he has such an extraordinary eye for items. He is good at it he could sell ice in Alaska 😂 after 12 yrs of marriage he builds gaming pcs but occasionally I can get him to go to yard sales. He has just strayed away from going. I miss it. I miss him going I miss just spending time together. It's sort of put a strain on our marriage. I work my butt off its rough sometimes. 😩 I love seeing couples resell. I always wanted to just take a trip like you all are. Sorry for rambling but I adore you guys 😊

I'd bet that kaleidoscope is from Nellie Bly Kaleidoscopes in Jerome, AZ! Highly recommend Jerome as a whole to visit! Super cute little town and soooo much to see.

This might have been the best yardsale all season. Left so many amazing pieces behind...all those marbles in the candy machines are MONEY....and several expensive glass empoli peices!

I have one family member still in the Phoenix area. Everyone else has passed away. I have been going back and forth to that area since the 1970's. Five hour drive for me. Some of my best yard sale finds were there. BUT, when you go in the summer, they start them EARLY and end them early because of the heat. Hon, Arizona gets COLD, freezing icicles COLD. It's the desert. It's a fallacy that it's always warm. In some parts of Arizona there is SNOW. People have retired here for YEARS, so there is always older stuff. The thrift stores are usually packed with stuff too. Have fun!

Wow!! I lived in AZ in the 80's I loved it there. One day I want to move back. At the first sale you left some beautiful glass behind. I crochet and the jackets cost more for the yarn. Enjoy your trip

Those big Navajo safety pins sell pretty well, I’ve sold one before for good profit and little buy in. People use them for sweaters etc..

Dress, Blk cat coasters, Kathy Hatch wheelbarrow and I can’t remember what else was there. Was thrilled when you and Matt came to Dayton area. I live close to the airport, so was thrilled you were in my stomping ground. Lov ya keep up with the great thrifts. 😊😊

I had to look up what the volcano hybrid was. Gotta say, bongs sure have come a long way since my day back in the 70's. Pretty fancy and expensive. Fun to see you in a new area. Good finds.
