We officially launched in April. We have 2 more big events this month, I am hoping to cross $2500 this month. 2 weeks ago was our first event and did better than I hoped. If I can even come close to my $2500 goal I will be ecstatic. One day would love to be at 4-6k but I have a long way to go and I am just enjoying the ride

Thanks for sharing! I’m using quickbooks online also. How do you separate online sales and local markets (or point of sale) sales? Do you use Shopify for markets as well?

I love this! Definetly makes me want to invest in quickbook. I do have a question though-- is being an S-corp the best idea? Because it sucks that you are being taxed twice

In comparison to what I would be paying in taxes overall, I pay way less as a S-Corp (even with paying both employer and employee taxes) than if I was a sole proprietor because of the way it works! ❤️ I looked into it and realized I would have paid about 2-3x more if I was a sole prop!

What was the net profit for April with expenses accounted for? I wonder if it is indeed a profitable business and replace a full time job time specially when you have to take account you have to pay mortgage, car and living expenses, utilities etc on a monthly basis as well. If this was a full time job, how do you guys plan for 401k retirement, etc? Just curious and would love to see strategies you've taken if this was to replace a full time job

As of right now this is all the income we have coming in :) my husband does all the production/inventory and shipping for the business!
