Fun fact: The reason why the family has a dog door is because they do have a dog. In the beginning of the movie, you can hear Kate say that they’re not being the dog and they put the dog in the kennel but it’s briefly interrupted by Kevin when he walks into the room.

Crazy how Joe Pesci who plays Harry also does the voice of one of the elves in The Polar Express. It’s the chief in the Headquarters with the big candy cane stick lookin like a Military Colonel🤣

Also I was impressed cause Kevin's timing was perfect when he was playing the movie and tricked the pizza delivery guy and tricked Marv. @13:00-13:27 and @15:02-15:24

Horrible fact: the scene were harry tries to bite Kevin’s fingers off, Joe Pesci (the actor for Harry) accidentally bit Macaulay Culkins finger really hard and gave him a scar on his finger, and to this day Macaulay still has the scar Also Merry Christmas Cody

Yep also the spider that was put on him was real but he had to mime his scream so he wouldn’t scare the spider. And the glass ornaments he steps on are actually candy glass.

Fun Fact:The mom is also Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas

Fun fact: Daniel stern, the guy that plays Marv, is scared of spiders, so when the spider is on his face, that's genuine fear. Also he's not actually screaming, so as to not scare the spider. He mimed it, and recorded his scream later.

Actually, he DID scream. The handler told him he can scream as loud as he wants because spiders don't have ears-just NO SUDDEN MOVEMENTS, lol! 😆

@@ashesbaby266 Ehm, spiders can absolutely sense sound vibrations. Very loud noises can startle a spider. These animals are very aware of their surroundings:)

@MissFlow while your right it might depend on the species or it was just that spider because it's true. He was told to scream as loud as he wanted to and so he screamed take after take. That's what he said in the interview, said he wanted to give it his all.

This movie is a freaking masterpiece! Kevin and his traps, as well as the Wet Bandits, will forever be icons of the Holiday season. And Macaulay Culkin, forever remembered as one of the best child actors. "Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals."

@christianciv1998 lol no where near as much flack as the third movie got for NOT being a copy snd paste of the first two. Personally I love all three. The rest are OK.

This right here is an all time classic! The story is very original and allows the movie to have heart, the acting performances are strong, the humor (both the slapstick and the dialogue) makes me laugh out loud, and I just think this movie has that right Christmas spirit.

You guys went right from SpongeBob straight to Home Alone. That’s insane.

I wish I was high the first time I watched this when I was 8...mistakes were made. I love that John Candy and Macaulay were reunited in this after Uncle Buck. Even though they weren't in a scene together, close enough. Also the funeral scene by Candy was completely improvised, which makes it even more hilarious. And Marv's spider death scream is legit. He had arachnophobia. The greatest crime in this movie certainly...even tragedy...is that Kevin didn't even get to eat his Macaroni and Cheese...😞

To be honest, I watched Home Alone 3 for the first time. I think it was when I live in Calgary with my family. Home Alone 3 and 4 are the greatest. I haven't seen Home Alone 1 and 2, but now I do. Home Alone 1, 2, 3 and 4 are so great. I have never seen Home Alone 5 and 6. I didn't know Home Alone 6 just came out somehow or somewhen. But I do have Home Alone 5 on DVD. So, I'll try to watch Home Alone 5 maybe tonight or some other time.

Home Alone and its sequel are my childhood Christmas classics along with Polar Express.

The "girl" in the photo off Buzz girlfriend was actually the film's art director's son wearing a wig, because director Chris Columbus thought it would be too cruel to humiliate a real girl in such a fashion.
