I can see already that WE would get along great. Everybody gives me flack about my overboard attention to detail when building a new emergency vehicle and nothing pleases me more than to see others that do the same thing. In the end it's definitely worth the effort. It looks great guys!

When doing a roadside recovery, leave the drivers side box doors open. People will get pissed, honk and swerve out of the way so they don't get their car scratched up, Most will NOT serve to miss a driver, they just don't care. I've worked 15 years at several tow companies, you'll learn plenty of tricks, but the most important is Survival !!!

Nice truck. You use that front winch to anchor your truck and you will really be able to use that truck to its full potential and pull bigger loads than most, especially off-road!

James.......If you get a chance can you do an in depth truck tour off HR130? I know of the video of when your pops was washing her an putting on new lights but now that she's all set up and been on a couple jobs would love to see how you guys are loving her!!!

Very nicely built! Lot of great features including the in cab controls and electric plug socket. Love the front bumper and rear spades with the red d-rings. The only thing is those rear tires are not gonna be great but that’s an easy fix should you choose to change them!! Even the led tool box lights are very nice. Great Truck!.. 💪🏽🇺🇸

I am happy for you. Literally learning the ropes (wire ropes and rigging, always over rig for safety). Those spades will come in handy for recovery tug-a-wars. I wonder if their is a towing recovery competition anywhere. So important to learn the basics with light duty towing before you move up to the bigger stuff. I hope Gord is still around, such a good worker and he has common sense (very valuable).

I operated a 1 Ton for many year's, Dodge, Chevy, GMC and Ford, Jerr Dan, Century,, Challenger, Holmes, Vulcan and the Truck that I liked the best was a Ford F-Super Duty with the Vulcan twin line with the 460 CI gas. It didn't squat down in the rear when I had a car or truck loaded on it. The others just couldn't handle the weight and the front tires would lock up and slide when stopping. Stick with the Ford Chassis they last longer and out perform any other truck.

Yo that's sweet!! Now ya need to smoke the windows out and lift it with air bags. Then add some nearly 35's with black XD wheels.

That's a really nice setup. Just to confirm though, this specific truck is going to be used for off-road recoveries high up in the hills too, right? If so, replace the tyres with a slightly wider, taller and more grippier pattern tread. It'll help maximise your pulling power on dirt, gravel and various soft surfaces. Think about the slightly taller and wider size heavy duty off-road treads (not the mud tyres) that can be put on the Toyota LandCruiser 70 Utility Trucks, if you need a mental picture. Have fun. 🙂

Decals look great on the white. Is that a Whelen emergency light package? Never seen those mounted near the windshield wipers - what an excellent visibility addition. Thanks JR
