I have had three our third one one is 7 months and so cute he’s the best my smaller dog likes him better now

Oh he's SO adorable! Love your emotional greeting, I understand! Was gonna say best breed ever, but apparently you guys already know that. Rosie is beautiful too. Be sure to give her some extra one-on-one time so that she doesn't feel replaced and also to give her a break from the pup now and then.

We adopted two that are half Bernese and half Newfoundland, born Valentines Day 2020. At 8 months old they’re 80 pounds each and growing, and we’ve never heard them growl. They’re all about love. Thanks for this beautiful video. It was so fun to watch your joy and to see Rufus welcomed by such a loving family. Both dogs look so happy to have each other and to have you. Two are better than one!

One day I will get one of these - been waiting for 21 years already and circumstances have been against me so far. But one day one of those will be mine and I will sob with joy from the moment I lay eyes on him. You're so lucky to have two Berners!

Love your baby! Congrats! Please always secure him in the car in the event of an accident. Use a harness, not a collar and secure away from airbags. Back seat with harness and strap made for cars is ideal but a good, sturdy harness and short leash tied is better than nothing. They are too precious to lose! Enjoy him, he is beautiful. We have a 5 month Bernese named Rollo. They are beyond words how awesome they are and are the best breed ever!

Awe 💕 🐶 This was absolutely pawfect. We are driving for 4 hours to pick up our puppy in 3 weeks so this gave us a glimpse of us in 3 weeks 😍 Patiently waiting now. Not so patiently but ok 😄 Bernese are the best!

What a beautiful family. I had a beautiful Newfoundland named Ace. Ace was a very old soul and a most loving companion. My friend babysits a Burmese Mountain dog and she just loves the dog. Thank you for posting this joyous video.

Definitely not a mockery!!! I love doing faith related videos on my channel so this was just that love for God working it’s way into other videos! It is fun to sing old hymns in a low opera voice though haha! They definitely are well loved☺️ thank you!!! they really are :)

That’s the only downside to them :/ A raw food diet is a key to combatting that though! That’s why we are doing it!

I’ve had a Bernese mountain dog in the past ( I have two now) and he lived till he was 14 (died due to cancer)

So sorry about your loss... I know the feeling! It's been 6 years since we lost our berner, and we still miss him so bad. We haven't really been in a position to take on another dog (which is a shame because a new puppy is the best cure for mourning), but we still hope to get another berner someday. I hope you can get another one sooner than later!

We got a Berner puppy in 2020 as well. He was born on September 15th year. Our old guy at 8 1/2 wasn’t very impressed. But they are fairly friendly, Greetings from BC!

My mom sent me this video and she said that our personalities are sooo similar.😅 It must be a Quebec girl thing... I’ll be getting my Bernese mountain dog in the near future. I am so freakin excited...😊 The breeder has till November to provide us with an 8 weeks old male Berner.🥳

We got our Berner 3 years ago and have been feeding him Fromm his whole life. Bernese need low protein and the food is low in protein. However our Bernese hates the food so we mix it with canned pumpkin. (100%no added sugar) My family and I had a lot of trouble figuring out what to feed our new pup so I thought I’d give some advice I hope it helps

hi, can you speak about your/your family's experience with their shedding? i am in love with this breed, but honestly the shedding is the only thing holding me back. i would love to know your honest thoughts!

Hi Esther! The shedding is definitely a huge part of having this breed, but the pros heavily outweigh the cons! You will always see clumps of fur on the ground but they are easy to pick up and throw in the garbage. The extra shedding is so worth it with this breed!

Our family have had 2 golden retriever which are known to shed. The first one shed a lot. The one we have now doesn't as much that is due to the food we feed her...raw food. Plus. We have titers done instead of vaccinating. Titers check to see if they need the vaccine. Ask your vet about it. 💝

Congrats! But couple mistakes here. First I have noticed that breeder didn't gave you any blanket with his mom's smell. And second - I know he might stink, but his old smell also meant safety. The most important thing is nose. Hope it helps to new dog owners.

Oh wow!!! Rufus turned a year old recently and he’s just under 100lbs. He was also gaining 10lbs a month for a while! The bigger the dog, the more dog there is to snuggle🤪

Emma, how do you translate his correct breed Name? We call them Berner Sennenhund! A Senn is a Person who lives with Cows on Alps during the Summer. In earlier times this Men had for example such Dogs to protect the Cows and helped the "Senn" to bring the Cows back home or to another Alp where the Grass was long and fresh. Today hes unfortunately "just" a Family Dog and way less exercising. But it was a cute Puppy. Do you have any other Videos from him? How is he today?

In Canada, they are known as Bernese Mountain Dogs. Very cool! I’ve got plenty of pupdates on Rufus on my channel :) and he’s doing well!

Avoid stairs as much as possible when they are puppies! (Dysplasia)
