    Someone on another channel reported that his front wheel fell off when he applied the break. Seems he was airborne when it happened. Probably because his quick release wasn’t tight enough and he was jumping things.

    #411-You're more than half way there! I just looked at that bike the other day. It's pretty sweet for a Wally-world bike. Yeah, the rails to trails up here is the 385 mile Ohio Erie trail that I wrote you about earlier when I was asking you about a fork for my Trouvaille. I want to build a trailer that I can pull my kayak with and bikepack the whole thing in the fall.

    @helidude3502

    28 күн бұрын

    I did some rudimentary measurements in the store some time back. I didn’t write them down. But the dimensions on the old sizing aren’t the same as the new sizing. The medium dimensions of one were the same as the large on the other, or something like that. I’m thinking the “updated” dimensions are more in line with industry standards, but I can’t be sure.

    Been enjoying my G1. Had to adjust it to fit me. Flipped the stem angled up, made a big difference. Got lucky and all my functionals were dialed in. A lot of people complain about the brakes, but I’ve not seen an issue nor feel the need to upgrade. The tires are a little noisy on pavement as others have mentioned, but not loud and I’ve had no issues with performance. Thinking of getting a pair for my schwinn I also have the updated Vibe in a medium. It got upgraded pedals, new seat and seat post, and new grips. I don’t like the shifter brake combination. Works like it’s supposed to, just not my preference. So it will be getting a micro shift and new brake levers.

    I made my GT Aggressor Pro into a janky gravel bike, minus the drop bars. It's actually more enjoyable riding it converted to a gravel bike then it was a mtb, I think mostly because how light it is now.

  • @cperryisnow
    @cperryisnow28 күн бұрын

    Pretty sure I picked up the last medium in LR area on July 5th after going to 4 different Walmarts. Walmart computer inventory was way off. Bike ended up being at a store listed as having ZERO. first 10 mile ride was good. Brakes eh. Shifting eh. Seat more comfortable than anticipated and bars tape is good.

    You’ll like the explorer. Gravel. Stay away from the hyper gravel bike. At 498 it has bolt on wheels. Where the Ozark gravel has quick release. The hyper gravel is not worth that high price. The gravel bike you’ll like upgrades yes. Brakes rub. But again it’s a 248 Walmart bike. And some did add a fork to it and another. One added the mtb tires at 1.1. Yes I ordered two. Medium and small. Me n the wife.
