The guitar player in the Stranger Things Metallica scene was actually playing it, surprisingly. The actor actually played guitar growing up. For the close up shots during the solo, they got that kid from that Steel Panther video that played Eruption. Kinda neat.

So to the doo, I would love to see a jam video, I still watch the biggest shred colab on a regular basis because I just love to hear people jamming out on a guitar and nothing else. And some of the very short improv stuff you do is amazing and I end up replaying it just to analyze every part of it and hear the intricacy of a talented player just playing

Doo, soup is absolutely right. As somebody who genuinely wants to make music production his career, I really do look up to you and would absolutely love if you just talked about music in a non-joking way and genuinely just talked about how you practice and got so good on a detailed level

Not sure if any of you guys are gonna read this or care to know but I thought I'd shed a bit more light on the Master of Puppets scene from Stranger Things: Firstly the actor who played Eddie, Joseph Quinn, while not being the son of anyone from Metallica is a huge fan of rock and metal. And to what Oompa said about him fake playing the song on the guitar, while the song was layered over in post to his playing, that actually IS Joseph Quinn performing the guitar riffs as well as the solo from the song. There have been people who saw his fret fingering from trailers who looked it over and immediately realized he was playing Master of Puppets before the episode came out. Again, not sure who's gonna care if even the Goons but I figured I'd comment if anyone was curious
