wenn du weiter nach süden fährst und Glück mit dem Wind hast kannst du Bermejales / Arenas del Rey ausprobieren. Ist ein See im Hochland von Granada. Flaches türkisblaues wasser. wenn der wind nicht mitspielt, 50 min richtung Otivar zur costa tropical. Eine wunderschöne Strecke zum fahren! Sonst soll wohl auch der Lake Vinuela ganz gut sein.

Lovely background. Ben can you tell us please how do you finde out "is it allowed to go out kiting in such places?" I mean you now , how do NaBu freaking out this them in Germany... does the other land of Europe take it more relaxed?

Haha 😂 true ! NaBu and Kitesurfers won‘t become friends in this world 😂 I google and ask locals. The thing is kitesurfing in general is allowed everywhere (beside it‘s explicit forbidden or a special zone like natural reserves are)

Nice video Ben, what was the wind blowing and what size XR was you using please? Just curious to what the knee breaker wind is?

Hey, it was +\- 20 kts, for freestyle I was riding a 13,5m gts and for the freeride session a 9m xr. The thing about the kneebreaker wind is: of course you can loop it in 20kts - even in 15knots you can. But if your try to go as high as possible in this wind the kite might slack a lot after the loop. This is why it recoveres by a chance of 50/50… Was that helpfull for you ?

Of the 20+ days I’ve spent in la manga (in March /April) over 2 trips, I’ve not seen a sniff of wind over 12knots. If you do get any wind there I’d like evidence for my own sanity

@@BenBeholzVlogs yes. Faro, fuseta, alvor, martinhal.( great with levante) Then from March onwards with North wind : Then closer to Lisbon : Lagoa de Albufeira, Costa da Caparica, Guincho. Then lagoa de Óbidos / Peniche.
