WE FOUND THE BIGGEST BUGATTI COLLECTION IN AMERICA
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Today, we tour the Bugatti and french car collection of Peter W. Mullin. Petersen has had a lifelong romance with automobiles. He is a devoted supporter of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and other concours events around the globe. He has entered and driven his cars in vintage races and rallies for the last 25 years, both in the United States and abroad.
Founded in 2010, the Mullin Automotive Museum strives to educate guests about 20th-century French automotive styling and design. The museum boasts nearly 47,000 square feet of exhibit space in an elegantly designed structure, which was previously owned by legendary newspaper publisher Otis Chandler. Peter Mullin is Board Member of the Petersen Automotive Museum, President of the American Bugatti Club, and an active participant and supporter of the Los Angeles Community.

If you're staying in LA, this is only about an hour away and is an absolute must see museum. The collection is all French, and all fantastic. The docent led tours are thorough, informative - but when you are finished, the best part is that you can wander at will throughout the collection. There's also a fantastic art deco collection including what I'd call a gentlemen's club/bar area and some Carlo Bugatti furniture. The presentation of nearly everything is stunning and you should budget several hours to drink it all it. Highly recommended.
These gotta be some of the most beautiful cars i think I have ever seen on the internet. Wow 👏

Pieces of art. Every single one of them.

Best half hour all week. Thank you for upload, video quality and excellent narration.
To say this cars are beautiful is an understatement. They are magnificent art works !
Thanks once again for another great video. What an amazing collection. Truly works of engineering art. Hope to visit some day. 👌
Thanks so much for providing such excellent detail on these cars.
I am completely blown away, that collection of cars is insane. I thought I had seen it all as I watched Ric on Leno's garage with the Talbot Lago.
Very pleasant and profession presentation! Thank you for the terrific tour!
I think the designers of these cars are much more imaginative than the present day ones .
What a fabulous collection. I hope to visit some day. Those French cars of the thirties are works of art like none other.
Wow, speechless... so grateful for sharing this video, just WOW!
Great video great car collection love the Bugatti’s look amazing nice to see that they are kept in the original condition thanks for the video
OMG such beautiful works of art. Thanks for sharing them.
These are wonderful cars that are fun just to watch. It's a great collection. It was a good time when designers ran the pen as they wished and outstanding craftsmen shook their arms to shape it. How beautiful....... Will be overwhelmed.
Mr Mullin Thank You ,this is just a Fabulous Experience ,Et que continue l'Aventure Voisin,Merci
thank you guys for continueing to make videos, it's my hope one day to come visit the museum. I am absolutely amazed by the engineering solutions, and robust way Bugatti, and the other cars of that era were built, they seem so solid, but also delicate in ways at the same time. I'm particually fond of the polished metals under the hood, and that incredible sound the doors make when they latch lol, I don't kjnow why but it makes my ears happy!

Beautiful collection of pieces of art and an excellent presentation. Thanks!
The beauty of the interior and dash in these cars are truly something special, even in an era when every car had real wood and limited plastics being used.
Absolutely stunning!!
I never thought cars like these exist. Magnificent
Did the cars look this good when they were first made, the restoration is just jaw dropping.

These cars are just absolutely breath-taking. So beautiful, the fact they are functional is almost a trivial afterthought. However, when you consider the artistry of these cars, the age they were built (no computer, no printers, just slide rules and pencils), compared to something as childish as the Tesla Cybertruck, which looks like it was drawn by a 1st grader with a red crayon (because it will go faster with red), accentuates how remarkable the designers of these vehicles truly were. Fame and recognition, rarely denote the best.

Our automotive users group- (from Opel GT to 12-wheel Peterbilt) understands your POV! HOWever the Cybertruck is indeed a both departure from and leading well away and forward-thinking above all traditional "smooth and swoopy" lines conventions. AND it is above all a serious truck. (1.7 million reservations, more the entire production of all cars here) for that one model alone, speaks volumes about what is a true improvement. Indeed if one wishes to be swoopy, aerodynamic AND avant garde, the Solar Aptera can CURE the curse of energy waste on personal transportation, with everything any one or two people NEED in a car, vs everything the merely "Want", eg front and back cigarette ashtrays, as in some of these featured cars!
Breath taking....one after the other.. I hope they restore the reserve collection as well.
5:44 that Delahaye coupe in the background ( silver/grey ) is simply stunning. Easily one of best looking cars ever made.
The aerodynamic bubbles around a tire were formerly referred to as wheel-pants. Fantastic cars great history, forward-looking vehicles with ultimate artisanal craftsmanship. Super descriptions. Imagine being a rich 'Gatsby' in the art-deco era, driving one of these rolling works of art.
Mr Eberst did a fantastic job presenting these cars. Really enjoyed his commentary.
An incredible collection to say the very least. Thank you so much for producing this video!
Awesome. Beautiful cars

It must be the effort the curators put into embellishing, polishing, adding to, and telling these most improbable stories to a point where they actually believe they are true !!! Ever realised how much "bigger than life" people with money are ? Very big EGO's is the answer to your question. The cars are just what was made at the time.

Thanks for sharing you kind of know any Pebble Beach winner is going to be something special I am a big fan of the long swooping running boards And convertibles as I grew up in a house that always had T Series MGs in the garage
Very informative, splendid cars and very nice and understandable spoken English. Grüezi from Switzerland.
I've seen a beautiful Talbo Lago identical to this one in person in Bay Harbor Michigan in the late 90's. They had a Concours car show. Im glad to see such beautiful cars. Unfortunately these are over restored "trailer queens" that don't get driven. At least Jay Leno drives his old Bugatti's and other classics. I hope to see these in person some day. This reminds me of the old adage, "They don't build them like they used to". Thank you.
Fascinating! I never knew this particular museum existed - so close to home. I look forward to visiting it ..... when COVID 19 is made manageable.
