I don’t care if it’s bluegill, crappie or catfish, It’s always a pleasure watching you two fish together. The catch and cook is always a thrill……Can we see how the kids have grown? Has Summer tried her first bite of fish yet. We’re still holding out for Cy on that day but for now he’s a “NOPE”!…………lol.

Your videos are always so fun! And a tip for you 2 for when you're keeping fish. When you have the cooler, fill it up with ice and then when you have your fish, pour Saltwater over the fish and ice and it will make a sort of slushie. Point being, it will get the fish in the cooler colder faster and keep them colder for a longer period of time

We seem to always end up doing the same! But we really did not have time to clean a bunch this time. We were heading out of state the next morning lol

About 3 years back, while making trips out to Arkansas before deciding to move here, we were just driving around checking out places. Wound up at same place you are fishing here....took a walk across dam and did same thing. Looked down and saw a ton of bluegill beds! Always wanted to go back and fish there but never did.

It's one of our favorite honey holes for sure! A little bit treacherous at times, but usually always worth it!

K-9 5lb crappie braid! I really like it! It's listed as red. It's the best panfish braid I have found so far!

Anytime I go after bluegill, all I ever get is very fat 2" long squirts. They are fat because they eat all the worms until one bites the hook. Think I'll start throwing some steroids in the water for a week or two.

I don't think it is a perfect mess. You're keeping two crappies you weren't fishing for crappies. That's not fair to crappies. They get ate with bluegill. Just saying LOL

taking spawing bluegills is not cool, especually the males as they are protecting the nests... not very ethical.

Can't remember exact ounces , we quit fishing and eating fish from kansas lakes,ponds,rivers. When about 15 years ago the KDHE SAID FISH HAD MERCURY ETC POISONING, AND SHOULD NOT EAT MORE THAN 3 OUNCES A WEEK AND SUGGESTED PREGNANT WOMEN NOT EAT ANY OR NO MORE THAN 4 OUNCES A MONTH.. RUINED A GOOD THING LEAVE IT TOO GOVERMENT TOO DESTROY LIFE FUN..
