Reminds me of Avatar (the blue people), i always enjoyed a sci-fi story where the planet's natives would defend their world against invaders and win. Serves us right for going straight for conquest instead of diplomatic moves.

Great story. From the very beginning I was hoping for that ending. Would serve us right for pulling some shit like that, which we would absolutely do because as a general rule, humans kind of suck.

Not surprised at all. There are African, Asian, And Middle Eastern countries that still have slaves right now. Nobody really talks about that though.

An estimated 6.4 million people were living in modern slavery in Europe and Central Asia on any given day in 2021. The region had the second highest prevalence in the world, with 6.9 per thousand people living in modern slavery.
