    @@MrJpena222 I was stop by Nevada fish and game while magnet fishing and they said it dose not require one. Your not fishing or hunting for live animals it is actually considered cleaning. And then he thanked me for doing the citys job that they never do. Lol

    How old do you think they are?? They're not very old. Bryce said he was a student in one of his videos. You have to learn this stuff. Odd shaped bits and pieces with mud and rust on them aren't always easy to figure out and easier for some people than others. What was that saying......if you can't say something nice, don't say anything Sue

    Just went magnet fishing for the first time with my daughter today. She loved it! She's only 8 but it's so nice to show her we might find cool things but we are also helping by removing this stuff. Didn't find much other than a few nails and a 6 or 7 foot metal rod. We were only using a small 350lb magnet but we'll be out again soon.

    Sorry you didn't find your knife! I'm noticing in the last several videos that folks think you're leaving the junk there. You used to show the trash in the back of your truck or going into a trash bin if one was near, at least every 10 videos or so. Maybe you should start doing that again. Enjoy the cooler weather

    The gun is either a Springfield Model 1922 or one of the many look-a-likes. Either way, it's chambered in .22LR. The owner probably picked it up at some sale like how Montgomery Ward sold old Mauser rifles dirt cheap, and they decided to cut the stock and barrel and pretend it was a flintlock.

    You got lucky with the aluminum mop handle, evidently finding whatever small steel part it had. Possibly the little rivets on the wringer handle.

    Some bolt action guns have an internal magazine that you load through the open bolt. I have one gun that will hold 6 cartridges in the mag.

    I see everyone is giving y'all a hard time about the aluminum sticking the the magnet, lol. But some aluminum alloys will. And if aluminum poles are used for something and have springs or button attachments those will be made out of steel. The green lever thing is a leg from a Christmas tree stand. That big pump thing looks like a pump from a old pool filter pump. Keep up the fun vids guys, they always make my day!

    Mossberg rifles also have a safety slide on the back making them ambidextrous which I'm left handed so it's nice. My bet mossberg rifle. Without me hands on hard to tell caliber/size of chamber. But some rifles(not rare) have internal magazines where you pull the bolt open and load the rounds through the top of the gun.

    The springs are from an old car seat. Also some rifles came with a tube magazine under the barrel. 30/30 and 22’s we’re both like that, but in the case of your gun it would’ve been cut off as well. It was obviously used to hang under a coat and used illegally

    ever tried a sea fishing type fishing rod for magnet fishing?. strongest fishing rod i could find to help reach under bridges a bit better. went magnet fishing after a flooded river was no longer flooded that river was loaded with metal stuff. found every road sign. you could think of a whole bunch of mailboxes and telephone poles spike
