It might just be the Rally nerd in me, but this video was better than most they've done for a hot minute. Love the respect they put on Kenjiro-san, dude is a legend of Dakar and rallysport in general. Probably the most humble man to ever take that trophy, and a true role model for anyone trying to break into rally.

My neighbor used to have a pajero evo when I was a kid. It was always so cool watching that SUV. Not sure why he sold it, but if he still had it. I would be begging him everyday to sell it or let me drive it

I'm personally the same way, so no hate on Jimmy as a person for not really having that, as not everybody does. I actually feel a little bad for him, as it seems more so like it's being forced upon him because of others leaving rather than by his own desire to be in front of the camera.

Once upon a time I was working in Argentina and my employer had me set up in a dumpy hotel room. I discovered that there was a dead bird on the ledge outside my window. I went to the front desk and tried to tell them "Es una pajaro muerto afuera mi ventana". But instead of "pajaro" I said "pajero" which means "person who mas turbates". The woman at the front desk had a look on her face which was very funny later when I realised my mistake.

I had the 7 seater regular version of the Pajero (1994 model) It was sucking diesel like there is no tomorrow. While cruising on the highway you could see the fuel gauge going down (slowly but visibly)

I had a 2006 Mitsubishi Montero 4x4 with the woodgrain and leather seats. The closest thing we got to this gem in the US. Absolutely loved that SUV.

I love the more cinematic, Hagerty style, history shots and editing, but we still need goofy personality injected into to Donut videos. It’s what makes Donut, Donut! Boys, please don’t lose sight of what makes you, you! Great video guys

I know its been years since the buyout, but the Big Time video really puts what this channel is now into perspective. You are just making content fit for TV to be on in the background. I feel zero connection to the people in the video. I will always miss the more personal passion projects that used to be on this channel. I hope they come back. That's what made me watch this channel religiously a few years ago.

This felt like a "Up to Speed" combined with a little bit of "B2B" in a "on location" jacket like the "hihg low" test days.... and I'm here for it!!! Keep THIS type of videos up!

Facts

I have a suggestion to the Donut guys --- Why not make a series on the various Automobile Racing Legends with their special cars in their habitats paying homage to what they've given us and to the auto industry.

This is the type of content we want. THIS is car enthusiast level content that is soooo much better.

As an automotive tech for five years with Bridgstone, every time we had a customer bring their car in whether they told us or not, if slime was used we would always recommend a new tire. Reason for this is slime, though as a temporary fix to get you to your destination for repairs, is actually containing a chemical that is a corrosive to rubber, thus negating a patch plug or flat repair. If left in the tire long enough, there would be noticeable tire powder from the lining of the tire. Do not drive long distances. It’s meant as a quick fix not as a remedy for a flat repair. If you use this product, just remember you will need a new tire 100%. Great video guys thank you for the content looking forward to more in the future.

The Pajero/Montero has a underrated rich history and glad you touched a lil bit of it in this video. The Pajero/Montero were already legendary for regular off-road stuff but it dominating the most brutal race in his for years has solidified it's place in automotive history. I love my Monteros....they are absolutely awesome vehicles. I would love to own a Paj Evo someday in the future. Mad respect honoring Kenjiro🤜🤛

In the UK, I still see these guys rolling about, though most of the ones are the Pajero Pinin's, which were called that because they were built in Pininfarina's factory, not designed by Pininfarina if I remember. Also, we call them Shogun's over here, which I think is a cooler name 😎

So yeah all the best dudes left that started this shit so obviously this channel is gonna take a huge hit. If you've been around the vids are slicker now but how many vids about buying stuff from temu and guessing used car prices do we need? The creative side of donut is gone and now we're left with what will be corporate dog shit. U notice they been reviewing Chinese vehicles and the last they're actually staying good shit about them..its all for the bag. This channel used to be sincere, James was always crying about how much he loved cars and the boys were building whips we could all afford and enjoy etc. it was for car crazy guys but now it'll change to just get clicks and make money. You'll have 5 ads each vid soon just wait. I'll stick around for a bit but it'll be a sad day when I finally unfollow. I've seen this a few times now it sucks but it's the way
