I bought a Roadtrek van last spring, and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!! The more I use it, the more I love it!!! It is so comfortable to drive, no matter the weather. Use it for trips, both long and short. Boondocking is a piece of cake, you can spend a night anywhere and no one minds. BUT there is only one of me, and not four. Plus, I am not full-timing either. We will see how it goes this summer with a month on the road to the Grand Canyon with my grandson...
I think it’s like 22’ 10” to drive through Sequoia, and our Minnie Winnie was 23’ so def go small! Have fun!
I love it when you say what the generator did. It sounded legit. I’m glad you found out the problems BEFORE you left. Enjoy getting it ready to go!

I'm glad you are keeping your 5th wheel
Congratulations, glad to see you embraced a small RV for another journey. As a veteran of 13 weeks in a 24’ C with a family of five, you’ll do just fine with four.
I can't believe four humans are going to live in that for 3 months! God bless you guys! I can't wait to hear where you are going that makes this sacrifice worth it!

I pray they don't divorce after sharing a small space like this with 2 kids. I love them both.
Excited for you guys! We went from a class A to a bumper pull, to recently a 23’ class C. We love driving in the house for all kinds of convenience reasons, and we went small for the driving/parking too. Like others have said, go non-ethanol as often as you can. Those generator carbs run a million times better, and longer, without the ethanol. I’ve started pre-identifying where non-ethanol stations are when routing trips. Can’t wait to see more!

I love that she came with you on this RV inspection and purchase.
Can't wait to see what you have in mind for this season. Thanks for sharing and as always stay safe, safe travels, and God bless love ya Nancy
So exciting! I love the RV and look forward to see where it takes you! Congratulations! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
This Class B, though small, offers up big possibilities ! This is what I will be considering for a motorhome. New adventures for the Moss family are soon to begin ! Slainte' ! Cheers !
Way to go guys have fun!
Nice! I have the same RV! My version is the Trend 23L, 2017. I have 2 kids that are pretty close to the same age as yours. While we don’t live in it full time, the four of us (and our small dog) have traveled a lot together in it over the last 3 years. I absolutely love my Trend. It’s so nimble and easy to get around in it. We’ve gone to some pretty secluded off grid areas that most rigs couldn’t get to. I’m confident will love your VIVA. Have fun!
Congratulations to you both! So happy for you! ❤

What fun you are going to have. So happy for your family!
I'm excited to see where you go in this ! That bed is perfect for them . Safe travels!
Not technically a B because it’s on a cut-away chassis, but it’ll be fun to watch you guys travel in that for three months. 😊
I'm still watching so I don't know the outcome but you guys will be fine in a smaller rig I think. You have excellent sense of priorities and you know how to stay positive. I suggested way last year that it might be a good idea if you had storage and could afford it, to keep 2 RVs. One could be smaller for adventure trekking and quicker more remote trips. The other could be big and comfortable, well appointed, and use it for longer stays with amenities. Store the spare at grandma's house and swing through TN every few months to switch out. As for the rig you showed has a lot of that airstream sensibility...curves, compactness, etc. If it gets crazy you can invest in a screen tent for a bit more living space. Would be great for meals, kids playing, even cooking if you, have a grill.
Congratulations, I love your new rig! This is going to be so much more versatile for you, you’ll be able to fit almost anywhere! Can’t wait to see where you guys are headed next!
Wow! What an incredible adventure you are about to embark on! Can hardly wait! 🖖🏻👍🏻😘🙏🏻
Wow, congratulations y’all! The new rig looks soooo FUN! Have some great travels in 2023! We will be in the National Parks this year 😎 Steve & Traci
I absolutely love this RV. It's small enough to allow you to travel easier to more places but big enough to be comfortable. I also like the convenience of getting up from the cab and walking back to the "house". I'm looking forward to following y'all on your upcoming journey. Safe travels.

What fun! Many family memories to come!
It's so much like our LTV Libero! Almost the exact floor plan. (Except for the kids' bed.) We LOVE it! So nimble for parking and quick set up and take down at campsites. But we don't travel with kids. I'm sure y'all can do it.
I personally LIKE IT A LOT…..simple easy driving. Go places with it that u can’t go with trailer. I might go shopping. Thanks for the review
I did not understand in the beginning but after you explained the purpose its PERFECT!! Have fun you guys traveling to new access areas. 👍

Being European it’s very funny to see you in an RV with a typically European lay-out and size. Your fifth wheel would never fit on our roads and your 23 feet RV is indeed perfect for small campgrounds and even cities. Have fun! Greetings from Belgium.
Congrats on the new RV! More tacos is always a good thing! Safe travels!

Hi guys. We have a 2015 Winnebago Reyo, Model 25P. It's on a Mercedes diesel sprinter van designed by Winnebago. We love the size of it. It opens so many more places you can go. You guys will love it.
So excited for y’all! Looking forward to your next adventure!
Congrats on the new RV! I so hope you have no issues but we dealt with so many Ram Promasters in a fleet capacity and it seemed that every time we picked one up to transport or place in storage before delivering to a new driver there were always issues. The RV form factor def takes care of the main type of problems which were the sliding cargo doors and pretty much everyone leaked water into the cab, the storage tray would fill with water and then soak you when you moved the van.
I'm so excited for your family! How fun!!! Can't wait to follow you next adventures. That RV is so cute.

Wow excited for another California adventure. We want to visit there. Thanks for showing us around.
Considering you're probably going to be doing most of your living outside, this seems very doable. It might just take some clever organization to fit the stuff you need to take. That overhead bed looks more comfortable than the corner bed!
Congratulations!!!! Looking forward to seeing your adventures in your new rig :)

Our first caravan was smaller than what you have, it was 6’ wide and 12’ long, and we had it for 17 years with 4 of us in the van, we toured Europe with our2 children they were 10 and 12 years old. Our kids now in there 50tys still have wonderful memories of travelling to Spain France Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, and I mean all over Europe, they loved every minute. So enjoy your trip and make those memories with your kids.
WOWZEE! This is fantastic! ❤️
We are still waiting on our first camper to be delivered soon I hope once the legalities, title transfer etc. 23 footer. We want to take our youngest to the nearest to us anyway, state park, once they have warmed up to the idea of overnighting in a unfamiliar place. I love your new pick folks. I hope it serves your family well and you get lots of new memories made!

Love it! I wasn’t prepared for this shocker! Heard In & Out is coming to TN. I’ve never been to one.
In N Out is coming to Tennessee! Yay!!
Hi, LJMJ! FYI, we purchased a Winnebago Itasca Viva about five years ago. The RV was about two years old, and had about 6000 miles on the odometer. We are a retired couple, and had some hesitancy about the relatively small size, but we purchased because it checked so many boxes otherwise. We LOVE the Viva! It has run like a top, and we've had virtually no breakdowns on the RV components. Nathan, our gas mileage ranges from 14 to 18, perhaps even 20 on level ground with a tailwind. The upper bunk is quite comfortable: as light as the two of you are, you might choose to sleep "upstairs" and put the kids down below. (By now, you've surely discovered the ladder for the upper bunk). And by now, you've also found the table extension: we're always amused that we have room for five or six to dine! And one of our favorite features of the Viva are the cabin chairs which turn to face the rear of the RV. We've made very few modifications, but we did remove the 12V television to allow for more storage, and we attached a Roku device to the main television. A drawback: your chassis clearance is quite low, so watch out for scraping bottom. Happy travels, we know you will appreciate the quality of your new RV!

The sleeping arrangements you describe is a great idea. Then the parents can still use the living area when kids are sleeping.
I loveeee this RV! The lift bed is phenomenal! Andddd the bathroom is so spacious! Wishing you guys wonderful and safe travels!
Wow! You’re getting down to about our size now. We’ve been full-timing in a Winnebago View for 5 years. Still loving it
Happy for you!
That bed dropping down is so cool.
Loved sliding around in the snow while in the car🎉🎉🎉
Congrats and safe travels in the upcoming year!! God Bless America!!
We have gone from a 16' Scamp to a 19' Rpod (full time for 8+ months) to a Imagine 17MKE (full time for a year plus). My thought is to go as small as you can to comfortably live with. And yeah that's a toughie.
Awesome!
Can’t wait to see where you’re taking her!

I would use the overhead space for the parents if you fit. That way the kids can have the bedroom and a place to play and keep their stuff out of the main living area. It’s just temporary either way but that’s how we would do it.
Love the size of the Rv and u can get to places easier .
Wow, excited for you! Great looking RV and hope your enjoy as much as possible. I went ahead and subscribed so I can see your future videos involving this RV and how it goes. Take care and safe traveling! Dave.

Whoa. The bed loft thing is super cool.
We have the Viva's sister model, the Trend. We met a family that give their kids the corner bed so they can close them behind the curtain for quiet time or sleep. Then the adults still have use of the rest of the space.

with those rv’s, mine did the same thing. What do you do, is run the fan for a little bit and then turn the AC on as a soft start.

We were surprised to hear you had never been in one prior to this, especially with all the RV shows you go to. Also, that you couldn’t find one of these closer to home. Looks like you’ll be going to bed the same time as the kids since there’s no place to relax after their bed comes down. Glad it’s not a wet bath. Good luck!
We bought ours sight unseen and had it trucked from California to Ontario canada. Best surprise ever..love it.

Looks like fun times ahead. I had to laugh Friday as I was visiting with my bank teller, she said she was going on vacation to Nashville. Then she said well actually I'm seeing a friend in a little town called Cookeville. I just said I know a couple from there :-)
Can’t wait to see the adventures ya’ll go on in our home state. Don’t forget to take the kids tide pooling along the coast.
