Being a 76 yr. old widow, I am about to take my first solo trip from Ga. to New England to visit family and friends. My late husband and I had RV's for years and when he passed away suddenly in 2017, I sold our Itasca 31 ft. Class C. Never dreamed I would ever have another RV. But I now have a 2022 25 ft. Class C to travel in with my dog. It is somewhat daunting to do this alone. To be part of a community is so important. I showed dogs for years, had that community. We raised and showed llamas for years and had that community. I look forward to having a new community with other women solo travelers. Your video was so heartwarming to me and know the RV community is such a great one to have. Thank you for your great family videos and the memories you are making for your family.

Best of luck on your travels! Relax and have fun, you can do this! We women are stronger than we give ourselves credit for! RV wise I knew a great deal but house wise? That was a different kettle of fish! My better half was of the opinion that you do inside, I handle outside! I had no clue how to run a snowblower or power mower! But I learned! We women can do anything we put our mind to! New adventures!

My dad help with a group a solo gal, that her class-B was stolen, and when she found it everything of value was gutted out. They got the parts she needed and got her back on her feet. Community can get you through the lows and through the highs too.
I can't believe it has been 8 years. I remember your first departure. I have watched Hensley grow up on here and then little JJ 's arrival. I watched these friendships form. I travel vicariously through your videos. Thanks for sharing.
IF anyone ever has any doubts about their immediate family and marriage while living in an RV, I can say from experience, our family is closer, our daughters relationship is strengthened and our marriage is better now than ever before.

@@LessJunkMoreJourney That is right. The many memories that you have. My husband and I we would take our 2 kids camping all summer long and we all had a blast. Now our kids are in their own family we go camping with them. They still remember the times we went camping.
We thoroughly loved hearing about your journey. We love your channel, your darling children and hope you have many more years RVing!
You two are so genuine and open. I love the fact you’re sharing your story. I will definitely help young and mature RVers understand what they may experience.
Preach it Nathan and Marissa💛💙💙💜❤️🤗🤗🤗🤗 Fulltimers for 3 years....love this lifestyle...it's fun but only if you are ready for adventures of all kinds ...love what you are doing to spread the word, inform and share with our RV community 😊
It's been a fun ride watching you guys for a few years. Keep up the great work and great content. Congratulations on achievements you have set for yourself.
Love hearing about how you made all these connections throughout the years of RVing fulltime and how the connections kept coming around your way. Very inspiring. You really do have to make it happen and be courageous to reach out.
This was an amazing video. Thank you for sharing. You have been on an incredible journey....thanks for taking us along w/ you!!!

Great video! Can’t believe you’ve been doing Rv living for 7 years plus. I have been watching you both for 4 years out of the 7. I can’t believe it. It feels like it was only yesterday. I remember those issues you had with the tires in Air Stream. And your truck. That is memories there. Glad you met up people who could help you fixing the Rv. And I’m glad you are going to go out and make more memories. Happy anniversary Nathan and Marissa. I’m ready for the journey with you. It’s like I’m there. Have a great night and week and see you soon!
Thanks for sharing your journey with us. Nice to take a look at where you have been and what suited you and when.

Heartwarmingly wonderful, community is everything ❤️
You all are the best!
These connections within the rv community is exactly like our experiences in the military. We have friends all over the country that we met at different duty stations. My first friend I made in 1984 in California is still my friend today. She lives in Alabama and we are in Connecticut. Community and those friends are forever... AWESOME VIDEO💕

Audrey is clearly prophetic. It's so nice to hear of all these connections.

Well done & said. I can't believe its been 7 years since you went "live". you were the first channels I followed. I had a hard time imagining how a young couple with a toddler could just take off. Now I see it. We are very long time RV-r's but weekend warriors until 3+ years ago. We now take a 3-6 day trip 1x a month plus a Winter snow bird trip for 5-6 weeks and a end of summer trip for 2-4 weeks. I do find on the long trips the "lack of community" you described. I usually end up talking to a few others at campsites. We are off grid most of the time. I'm pretty much a DIY fix guy and carry a lot of tools in my truck. It's helped me and have come to the rescue a few times for others. We live in the PNW so its a bit of a journey to see you in FL, but if one ever happens this side of the Rockies, we'll make an honest effort.
Thank you for this video. I started full time recently and I am looking forward to see where this takes me.

Oh thank you for making this video! We don’t have small kids but I love watching you guys grow and travel with your kiddos. I agree with you about community, we tried it for 6 months and we just could not find community we are outgoing people and the loss of church community and family really made the 6 months lonely, we visited family along the way in CA, but still found it lonely. So now we go for 2 months at a time and come home for a few months and go back out so we have community at home. So thank you for making this video and giving me ideas
Hubby and I agreed to go full time in 10 years about 6 months ago. We are both so excited! Rn we have a few acres and a beautiful home. Our son is living with us while he goes through college and some on the job training as an electrician! We aren't sure at this point what we will do with our home, but we have time. Hearing about your travels and the friendships you have makes me look forward to our time so much more!

Thank you guys so much for this inspiring video. My husband is retiring next year and we will be buying an RV to travel full time. Community part has been my only concern. Your video confirms we will need to just step out of our comfort zone. Thanks again, safe travels
I've been following you guys from the very beginning and still dreaming of going full time with my kids ( and dogs) just haven't saved quite enough yet. Had a dream that we were living in a RV last night and about to hit route 66. 🙂
My husband and I are planning on retiring to RV life in two years. I am 54 by March of next year and he just turned 62. I hope we find the community that you have found! Still a little nervous about finding the right vehicle for us to travel the country but I am sure God will provide!
Love this!!!!!!
I loved tonight’s video. Probably my favorite.
So agree with the community! God made us to fellowship! We did full time for a year & can’t wait to go back sometime! God bless you & thank you for what you do! ❤️

What a great video to reminisce all the past journeys and friendships you've acquired. I can understand that loneliness even being in a sticks and bricks. Great job you two, sounds fantastic.
What an incredibly Beautiful video !! You, I'm sure have given those that are in fear of making that jump ready to fly 🥰🥰Safe Travels guy's ❤️
Thank you for this post. My husband and I have RV'ed since 1993 out in the NW. Then we came back to Florida to be close to my parents and now caring for my Dad. I thought at one point we would never RV again. This post has given me hope that we will be able to RV again.
Love your videos. You are an encouragement to new and seasoned RVers. Since there are so many new RVers out there would you consider doing a video on how to be a good camper? Some people need to know (or a reminder) that you pick up your trash and not leave it behind, you keep your kids from running wild, you watch your TV or listen to music with the volume so you can hear it but the rest of the campground can't, you respect quiet time, and so on. It shouldn't have to be said but somehow these days it does.
Great video. And encouragement.
Loved this !

You two are awesome! Thanks for sharing "the inside tips" of your journey over the last 8 years with us! I felt like I was sitting right there in your RV with you! I've been watching you on and off for the last 4 or so years and enjoy each video you share with us. I think it's wonderful the way you have formed a "community" of friendships along the way!!! 🤩I'm a "wanna be" RV-ER". AT 78 I just live the RV life vicariously through you and some of the other full time RV people. I have been considering just getting something like a Toyota Sienna, gutting it, and tuning it into an small RV just for small "Trips". We shall see........ I'm so happy for your family and the adventurous life you live. How lucky for your kido's to get to learn "hands on" about life and all the wonderful places, people and "things they visit as you travel!!! I truly beleive they are getting a better, and a more rounded education as you travel than the average kid growing up that stays in "one" place! 👌💞

This is a really good episode. I am single and do not full-time; however, my almost instant family is Airstreamers. I do not have the video channel for people to know who I am to reach out. The connection is semi-automatic so that helps me and if there is an Airstream park, it is really special. This summer in a week and a half I met some really nice people, celebrated two birthdays with them, shared stories and learned much from people who traveled much more than me.
Love you guys!!!
You both are so awesome. You give me hope that I will make it happen for myself. 😊

Are you two aware of PSAs? Public Service Announcements. You call the local radio station and ask for a PSA. They're free. You can request a PSA to announce your event, via a local radio station. Call them a week or so before the event. Most of the time, they'll say yes.
