I only recommend products that respect my client's time and money--good investments. You can buy a lot more bare root trees vs. potted trees, but is it worth your time and effort to plant them? Planting trees is hard work. You want them to survive and thrive from the start so you don't lose years of growth replanting gaps where your trees died.
