There was this theory that Erik from New Rockstars explained that I really liked it and it made sense, you know how Lokis are supposed to be villains and on the beginning of episode 3 since Sylvie was a little girl she was imagining she was a Valkyrie while she was playing with her toys, that must have gave her the mindset of becoming one of one of them so that could’ve been her nexus event her being a good guy

It was confirmed that Loki and Sylvie broke the multiverse by killing he who remains and that caused no way home and dr strange 2 and what if to happen

Strange was the one to ruin the spell not shutting peter parker's mouth up.. Wanda already learned how to conjure other demonic creatures to other universes to hunt down chavez.. Loki and sylvie just broke the control over the timeline.. When kang talked abt the threshold. He meant the birth of the scarlet witch.. He felt it cuz that's one nexus being the TVA can't take down.. So that's the only event kang missed

You asked about He Who Remains' power level relative to other Marvel villains, and I think by the end of this episode you can see that the answer to that question is... it's complicated. Without spoiling too much, I'll just say that his power level in the comics depends highly on which variant of him you're dealing with. The most consistent thing about him is that his intelligence is his greatest attribute, and that he often gets in his own way when trying to manipulate timelines. More specifically, variants of himself tend to get in his way. He's up there in terms of the most iconic villains that Marvel heroes have to deal with. Sometimes ultra powerful, sometimes not so much, sometimes (like here) not even really truly an enemy. I'm excited to see what the MCU does with him. He can be a royal pain in the ass for basically all of the Marvel hero teams. The actor playing him (Jonathan Majors) is phenomenal. As for when to expect Loki season 2, it's currently filming right now. I'd guess summer or fall of 2023. Sometime after Ant-Man 3.

Yeah I think it doesn't make sense to compare powers at that level... i mean as far as I understand he is just a human with super futuristic tech and thanos is powered up with all (well "all") infinty stones... I think they both could posslby just play havoc... ^^ no idea if a 1 vs. 1 between the both would even make sense :D

I love how you guys picked up on Sylvie fulfilling her "glorious purpose" and being left hollow. A brilliant finale with great storytelling and character development. Loki and Sylvie fighting themselves (figuratively) by literally facing off against each other. It's a question of whether a version of Loki can finally see beyond his or her "glorious purpose" and consider something and someone other than his or her own experiences. Our Loki passes the test and seeks to protect others. Sylvie fails the test and gives in to her glorious purpose to destroy the TVA, and is left alone at the end of time instead of with the man she loves. Also He Who Remains is a less evil Kang variant, and now Sylvie has unleashed the actual Kang the Conqueror across all of time and space. That's who the statue is of.

This reveal when Loki was airing was a MASSIVE deal. Just months before it was confirmed that Jonathan Majors would be playing Kang the Conqueror in Ant Man Quantumania. Kang is a very dangerous villain in the comics, and He Who Remains was simply a “good” variant of him. The statue at the end was Nathaniel Richards (his real name) in the comic accurate Kang the Conqueror armor. This finale is what allows Spiderman NO Way Home, Dr. Strange Multiverse of Madness, and other future MCU projects to happen, along with introducing the next Thanos level villain. KANG THE CONQUEROR IS HERE

28:07 Sylvie sent Universe 616 Loki (the one we've been watching all this time) to the wrong universe! She sent him to a universe in which Nathaniel Richards (He Who Remains' real name) is the head of the TVA. Judging from his close, this is the worst version of himself, Kang the Conqueror, the one He Who Remains is afraid of. Kang is a beast! His 31st Century technology allows him to nullify all powers, which is why things as powerful as the Infinity Stones don't work at the TVA. In the comics, Nathaniel Richards is a descendant of Reed Richards, Mister Fantastic and this may or may not still be true in the MCU, but we'll have to wait and see how this all plays out. We're still living in the 21 century and Kang is from the 31st. This is what makes him so dangerous, his knowledge of technologies that do not yet exist and the fact that he has access to any point in time. Time is his domain; hence, for all time. Always.

There's a theory that kang felt the scarlet witch birth in the original MCU timeline.. That's why he said "we just crossed the threshold" he couldn't control this one neither could agatha harkness. A nexus being like wanda should've never realized her full potential

14:54 Celestials are the strongest yes. Kang is strong but in a different aspect. He couldn’t control them necessarily but knows the future and can always avoid and manipulate them with time

Her nexus event was that she wanted to be be hero instead of a God of Mischief!

Loki basically ended up in a different timeline, one where Mobius obviously doesn't know him, but where the TVA does know who He Who Remains is. The timeline was already branching at this point, the "threshold" as He Who Remains called it.

No. I don't understand how people don't get this. There's only one TVA. The new Kang reset the TVA and rebuild it back in time in his own image. By the time Loki landed there, it already happened. Time is relative.

Well according to the whole plot leak ....... Our Loki is in the same TVA but it's just in past when Loki didn't met mobius and the whole TVA thing, main villain of the series is not Kang... Kang is a secondary role here. Main villain is going to be older Sylvie, played by Kate Dickie.

He Who Remains is a variant of Kang the Conqueror, who will be the villain in Ant-Man 3 next year. My theory is that the TVA is that little city you see inside the Quantum Realm in Ant-Man 2 which will now be THIS TVA the next time Ant-Man goes in the Quantum Realm with Kang running the show instead of "The Time Keepers."

He who remains is Nathaniel Richard, he's from the 31st century and is a distant relative of Reed Richard(mr.Fantastic) he unlocks the secrets of time manipulation and traverse to the time of Egypt and renamed himself Pharoah Rama tut, the fantastic 4 defeat him and he flee to the 41 century where earth was ravage by war, he had knowledge of the technology there and was able to conquer the whole world and galaxy and renamed himself again under the moniker of Kang the conqueror.

i forgot how much of a banger the last episode is, when loki comes back and you realize kang already went back in time and created the TVA in his own image

You know what's really cool about this episode at 21:26 of this video you see the guy who can foresee the events of earth saying he was able to until "5 or 6" seconds ago and he pauses. This is when wanda becomes the Scarlet Witch, which he didn't forsee and he was taken back and was processing it

The thing with Renslayer is that she HAS to believe there's some greater meaning to it, that what they're doing is worth it. Because if there isn't, it means she's done absolutely monstrous things and she'll never be able to grapple with that.

He Who Remains is a combination of characters from the comics. In the comics He Who Remains is the last manager of the TVA in the universe that's responsible for bringing all knowledge into the next universe. The MCU has combined this character with Kang the Conquer the next big bad to worry about. In the comics the TVA is the one organization responsible for the flow of time with real time Keepers. Members of the comic TVA are all clones of Mobius M Mobius who is a comics character created in the image of the Marvel Editor responsible for comics continuity in real life. Kang is going to be interesting because the is so much story around him. He is related to Reed Richards and has mastery over time. He exists everywhere and all throughout time.

I know you two were underwhelmed by the bad guy but he's a very good actor and will be in the new Antman and Wasp movie as Kang so he must be Kang variant here. If you not checked out anything he acted in I suggest you check out the series Lovecraft Country a very powerful series a must watch.

Loki and Sylvie are encountering one (of many) incarnation(s) of Kang the Conqueror, also referred to as The Master of Time. In terms of all of the other power players you have seen in the Marvel Universe, he's the biggest and has been working to control all of history to stay in control of the whole thing. The only enemies he feels threatened by are variants of himself who may know more than he does.

This is a common misconception, but they didn’t CREATE the multiverse. The multiverse already existed, but our universe was simply ISOLATED from the rest. And He Who Remains implied this. He said he ISOLATED his timeline, not that his was the only one. The branching of their timeline caused them to leak out into the remainder of the already existing multiverse. So he did say he won the multiversal war… but from his POV. Because of isolating it, the war was “over”

Hry guys, Love the look. Very studious. So remember, in the original TVA, the statues were of the 3 time keepers. This isn't just a memory wipe, it's a different TVA. TVA was removed from space/time. They don't exist in a timeline but a Universe. This, like the beginning of the show, is another universe where he never hid his identity and they don't know who "Loki" is as a person. It's not only like working with Elon musk at bestbuy, but no one knowing who Elon Musk is because he never existed as a celebrity or otherwise to the TVA, There are no "loki" s here but him. It's also possible "he who remains" also known as Kang the Conqueror know Silvie's nexus event bring about the end of the TVA "sacred timeline" and that's why she was taken in. PUDGY dropping the astute bomb again, YES, Kang was referring to her as being HIS murderer. To be fair though, he knew it had to be 1 of them since he couldn't see past that point and that only will happen because he's no longer around to keep the timelines in check. Its like being a game designer and seeing a save point, you know it's here to save the player some time from loading in when they eventually die at this next part. "he who reamains" knows all of time because he lived through all of time, it literally seen when youre at his place outside. So he fixes and prevents all the branches from the sacred time line because he can see it split. HOWEVER, 1 event stops and ends with uncertainty, the LOKI's. As hard as he tried to stop them, it always ends up here.

I disagree with you guys like I disagree with many that said that Sylvie betrayed Loki when she only did her original plan that she planned before knowing Loki if anyone betrayed someone it's Loki. She lost her life, world got deleted by Kang and she was chased all her life and you think she will listen to a strange stranger is crazy. This is the start of the multiverse, but it was something that was around before this Kang stopped it by pruning all the other multiverses and just kelp his own, so we should benefit from so many different possibilities that might lead to Secret Wars which the Russo brothers said they would like to make.

It’s quite literally what Michael Waldron, the writer of the series said lol. I didn’t come up with it on my own. But once I saw his explanation and then paid closer attention to some of the dialogue, it did line up

I think. when He Who Remains says that he no longer knows what is going to happen because they’ve crossed the threshold,right after you hear that thunder rumble, The rumble signifies the branches emerging from the sacred timeline bcs renslayer has left the tva and b-15 has exposed the tva for what it is, leaving the tva understaffed or possibly empty in our reality. Since the tva is not pruning nexus events, He Who Remains can no longer see into the future bcs infinite branched realities/universes/possibilities are occurring. It’s likely that silvie sent loki into an alternate branched alternate reality ,bcs no way she knew how to fully operate h.w.r’s TemPad. That would also explain why the tva was still in full operation even though b-15 and mobius both know it’s all a lie and have lives outside the tva

And renslayer leaving the tva during her conversation with mobius right before he says that line. Has me thinking that they exposed the tva and its employees quit

If he knew to dodge her attempts at killing him, I would think he would know the outcome, unless he no longer controlled the timeline. That’s where im confused anyway.

@@manny_e3671 yes he knew everything up until he gave them the choice to takeover or kill him. Once he gave them that choice is what caused the threshold. He did not know how they were going to answer that question. In my opinion.

Just like we had all these one off badguys leading up to thanos... we are about to face a bunch of baddies that are stronger but ultimately meaningless cause it all leads to Kang the conqueror

You both should check out the theories about how the last conversation with He who remains relates to Wandavision and the Scarlett witch. It might make things more clear for you in that regard.

28:02 My dude THANK YOU for being one of the few people who realizes that He who remains can easily just memory wipe everyone from knowing who Loki is instead of immediately assume that Loki's just in a "different TVA" like so many others have done. Many reactors tend to forget that the TVA exists OUTSIDE OF TIME and there's only ONE TVA to manage all the timelines within time.

Ur forgetting that the statue of Kang replaced the 3 time keepers statues. So he is DEFINATLEY in a different universe. No doubt. There was only one TVA because there was only one timeline. Now there are multiple timelines so that means multiple TVAs. Not to mention multiple Kangs as he said in his explaination.s

Wrong, it IS a different TVA. Thinking it isn't is the simple answer. As Unsane said, there was only one TVA because there was only one main timeline, and their job was to keep branches from existing. Now that there are an infinite!!!!!! amount of other timelines, there are multiple TVAs. There's not one Kang on top, there are an infinite number of Kangs. It's not just a simple memory wipe, which is one of the worst story threads to go with (amnesia and memory wiping is a big no in writing 101)

The TVA stated that they are LITERALLY outside of time as in separate from ALL of the timelines so that they can BALANCE all of the timelines and the castle of He who remains was also outside of time but he was even further and on the EDGE. Alioth also exists there and he is ALSO one of a kind because of that. The memory wipe was what made the employees of the TVA unaware of them originally being variants correct? so whos to say Kang can't also wipe the memory of who LOKI(Someone who DOES exist in multiple timelines) is from their memories as well??????

They literally have a statue of the new Kang, clearly showing it's a different universe. They only existed outside of ONE TIMELINE. Now there are infinite timelines.
