Kang scripted Thanos’ victory only in 616 so that Tony has to invent time travel for them to go and fail the Tesseract mission so that Kang is created in the future. That means Kang is created by himself from the future through the past

It’s very telling that Loki, who has experienced just how dangerous and cruel Thanos is without the aid of the Infinity Gauntlet, considered He Who Remains to be “terrifying”. Someone who only had his vast intellect was able to draw pure fear from the God of Mischief in one meeting without the need of long periods of mental and physical torture. That, alone, speaks volumes of how much of a greater threat Kang and his many Variants poses to the Prime universe than Thanos ever was…

This show was GLORIOUS!!!

I find it kind of funny how Loki says to Mobius that He Who Remains ,who is a human,is terrifying. Right before this journey of a show Loki was trying to take over Earth because he sees them as inferior.

They're really hyping up kang to be the next big serious threat

As he very well deserves to be. Some huge stories out there that show just how powerful he is. Check out The Kang Dynasty (avengers vol 3 issues 41-55) and also cross-time kangs (avengers 292-297)

@@FandomZone That's cool. I'm not as familiar with kang. I did read his first appearance in avengers and one story where an older kang went back in time to help the avengers defeat a younger version of himself. So it will be interesting to see the different versions of kang. This is a meaty role for jonathan majors because he can flex his acting range.

Jonathan Majors was officially cast to be Kang The Conqueror in the next Ant-Man Movie...So we think Kang will keep popping up under different names he had in the comic like "The One Who Remains."

i understood when she said “it’s fair” about “the only one who gets free will is the one in charge.” The statement is true whether we believe in it or not. The one in charge can do whatever they want. nobody else can.

Not just a kang but kangs are here all different from each other as we saw what happened with loki, different powers and stuff.....

The council of the Kangs is nearly upon us.

I wonder if the timekeepers were real but overthrown in the multiverse war, and perhaps multiple kings have been in that citadel (so the statues in the dusty room indicate past “timekeepers”). The temp pad that Kang had was multiversal as we saw in his recounting of his past (we saw kangs going through time doors to neighboring universes). So Kang programmed it, knowing his manipulation would have the Loki’s turning on each other, and one would be tossed into another universe. So that is not a reset mobius it’s a different universe mobius. As far as sylvie saying she existed before Loki, I think she meant from the battle of New York when this variant was “created”

The only person loki could kiss is himself 😂😂

Absolutely loving the content guys and this season, especially this episode is INCREDIBLE definitely got me wanting to start looking into all these new stories coming out and learning more about the marvel universe but i have one question thats been plaguing my mind the last 2/3 eps - is loki a good guy now? I've watched this episode a few times now and I keep thinking about the opening, the universe going through reincarnation, and He Who Remains talking about his life: a brilliant scientist who discovered the Multiverse (Nathaniel Richards), the variants who saw new lands to be conquered (the jerk), the variant who weaponized Alioth (the conqueror), the variant who isolated and stabilized the timeline (He Who Remains), and the variant would eventually do it all over again (Immortus). Names likely don't matter because everything is the same, just at different stages of life. We had the guy who was at the end of his reign and ready to retire. "You either take over and my life's work continues or you plunge a blade in my chest and an infinite amount of me start another Multiversal War. And I just end up right back here anyways. Reincarnation, Baby." --He Who Remains He Who Remains sounds like he has gone through this before--he said he had gone through a number of scenarios and that the one we had throughout the MCU was the only one that worked. I don't know if there ever was a "solid timeline," as He Who Remains' story and the Loki Variants' story tell us that there is only one story, a shared story that plays out in every universe and we saw through the Loki Variants. Alligator Loki, Classic Loki and 2012 Loki likely knew Boastful Loki was BSing them when sharing his Nexus Event because that's not what happened in their scripted story. Regardless of the universe you come from, you and your variants all have the same story. The Loki Variants are all the same person at different stages of his/her life, Classic Loki for example, was at the end of his story and was done with all the BS that governed most of his life--He Who Remains is in a similar position. The citadel looked to be encompassed by all of time and the Multiverse, and it looked like time was in a loop, which I think explains why a 78-year-old ship from WWII suddenly appeared in the Void in last week's episode--things pruned are instantly sent to the Void. The idea of sticking someone or something in a time loop came up a few times in this series as well. He Who Remains possibly didn't fear death because he knew what follows death, his inevitable return. And that's what he feared most, as he was tired of doing this over and over again, and it sounds like this is why he had the TVA prune variants that didn't follow their scripted story and why we never saw time past the 30th century. Variants that go off script make splashes in the Sacred Timeline, and where there are splashes there are ripples/waves. He Who Remains had the splash and its immediate area removed, preventing the consequences of that splash from pushing time beyond a fixed point in time. He Who Remains was preventing his inevitable return, and now that he's been removed there is no one in place to stop the numerous splashes/waves pushing time past the safeguards he had in place. Whatever happens, fun times are ahead. I cannot wait to see how this all plays out!

Beautifully put. Knowing what we know now I will be rewatching this series from ep 1 to look for phrases and certain events as it puts a lot into perspective. The time loop concept makes a lot more sense given the circular make up of the “sacred timeline”. But my god “What If…?” Just became a whole lot bigger to consider in the grand scheme of things

We have discussed it though. We don’t really see ourselves as big or deserving enough for something like patreon. We would want it to be great to give people value and not rip them off by not delivering

but you missed the whole point the he who remain already experience the multiverse before and find ways the best way to maintain the balance even that sounds dictator but even in balance we have dictator it must exist for everything in balance.. the end of story already told the episode

I didn’t see romance there…. I’m rather glad she betrayed Loki. He was trying to make peace with himself in a way, but he did not. He has got to be full of self loathing now. I really want to see this Loki meet guardians of the galaxy thor.

This isn't Kang. It's Immortus/He Who Remains.

Man I really was the only one who didn't know about the actor or who Khan was... and I'm a fan of the series too. Ugh. right so, assuming a decade(s) plus later, what other villain could beat this?

Did their memories get reset? Tva is outside of time and space so there should only be one. Plus no matter which timeline möbius should recognize a Loki variant when he sees one.

Renslayer said, “Only the one in charge gets free will,” then later said she was going to search for free will. She wants to have the power. Either she’s also a variant of Kang or they’ll go the comics route and she’ll be the kindred spirit to Kang and that’s why they have a relationship.

At first I was thinking she might end up teaming with Kang the Conquer like in the comic's but then I thought back to when Miss Minutes gave her the files from He Who Remains. He knew everything so he also knew if Ren Slayer could be trusted to carry out whatever orders he wants her to do with those files. I personally think it will be something major like how he controlled Alioth to help stop Kang the Conquer.

Talk about glorious purpose....Marvel is a badassss brilliant strategist.... they've gerryrigged the multiverse (NOT UNIVERSE..... MULTIVERSE) marvel can now write and rewrite ALLLLLL.... type of stories that don't adhere to canon.... you want a storyline with wolverine against or teamed up with deadpool...ok ...the sentry against fantastic four .... you got it.... and it can be written of as an elseworld story...a different timeline...a different universe....they have a license to create whatever reality they want.... punisher teamed up with bucky.... ANYTHING.....WOW ...OHHHHH SHIIIITTTT
