Another great video! I have never fished the Jetty this time of year, are the lower rocks as slick from slimy as they are later in year? I have that same rod holster, but have not had a chance to use it yet. How does it work? I was worried it may want to rotate on you when loaded with a rod.

Rocks were fine if they were dry. Rod holster worked great when I remembered that I had it. Lol.

Hey, I know this is further away but I saw you had some videos around pensacola. I’m down near Perdido pass, do you have any tips of surf fishing near the jetties for redfish or anything else?

Big gold spoons or Fishbites Buttkicker Paddletail usually work for me.

How bout June right now a good time to fish for them ? I don’t believe they are in season tho to keep for eating

You can keep sheepshead year round but they are harder to find in the summer, way harder.

Another rock-in video man!!!! When does the sheepshead bite turn off or does it? I guess I'm asking can you catch them year round????

I've caught them year round but early spring they move out of the passes and offshore, I believe that it's to spawn.

I chased a tarpon my granddaughter hooked at my parents 6 years ago. We caught the fish (37 inches) but my knee took a week to heal

There wont be many around until late october. But there could be some stragglers.

It was a rising tide, low tide was about 6:30am and we got there around 8:30

I love fishing at st andrews but how do you fish the jettys without constant breakoffs

They all work at different times. I will use a mix of sand flea, shrimp, crab, clam until I figure out what they are biting on best that day.

Sheeps are hard to find this time of year. You are better off targeting mangroves, flounder and spanish off the jetty right now.

Nah, just a bruise. My mom was the fisherman of the family, so I figured I got it from her.

Why can we never get these fish in restaurants? It’s always the same dishes. Grouper and tuna. Everywhere you go. I want some sheep! Give me some blackened amberjack!
