Bridge Fishing for Sheepshead in Panama City - Multiple Surprise Catches!

Спорт

Bridge Fishing for Sheepshead in Panama City - Multiple Surprise Catches! I headed out to fish Tyndall Bridge mid morning with live shrimp and fresh dead pilchards. I was hoping to catch some big sheepshead and maybe some big red or black drum. Ended up catching a ton of mangrove snapper and several surprise species that I never expected to land that day. I hope you enjoy the video, tight lines everybody!

    Looks like you had a fun day on the water! No telling what was breaking you off. Bull red, big snapper, shark...everything likes a live shrimp. I’m looking forward to catching some sheepies here over the next few weeks and exploring the river and upper bay areas for reds and trout this winter. Tight lines Sean!! And who gives this a thumbs down? smh

    Why do you have your drag set so tight? If you're reel slipped drag you wouldn't have lost so many fish. Good video

  • @TheLawlessTide

    @TheLawlessTide

    4 жыл бұрын

    If you are talking about the last fish it was set so tight because I was trying to keep him out of the stucture. Every time I hooked anything substantial they ran straight into the pilings and cut me off on the structure. So I started with loose drag but it was only working with the smaller fish.

    Probably anchor away from the pylons so you can pull the big one out. Fight them vertically is not easy beside the strutures.
