In an interview he did say he has come to understand and forgive his Mom’s emotional issues. His wife has a common background to Nate in that she lost her father to addiction. I hope they help each other in healing going forward to raise children of their own

Thank you for posting that, I stopped by to say the same. Also, and this in no way should diminish the heart break that Nate continues to go through, but his step dad who abused him, most certainly abused his mother, and I'm sure that pos was the one that not only enabled her addiction, but I'm sure he wasn't too keen on her going to rehab or get any kind of help. I've heard NF, since he met his wife, and he's matured a bit, kind of elude to his mom being trapped in that relationship, and felt she couldn't get out. Again, not saying she gets a total pass, but understanding both sides of a tragedy, I think can help in the healing process. TCC...You two are adorable by the way, first time checking out one of your reactions, definitely be back for more!! ✌️❤️

It was a wonderful reaction seeing both of you from a different culture and listening to you guys talk like we do I'm Hispanic so we talk to Spanglish I don't know what country you're from but it was beautiful to see you guys speak in your languages what is in English. The reaction was great and it was real, thank you for that. Hopefully you guys take the journey the NF journey and you'll see how much he throws his music out there he is a rabbit it does not swear and he does put God in his lyrics, again thank you 👍

Thank you both for this reaction. I never really just listened to the Arabic language before, I don't speak a word of it, but the two of you made it seem so beautiful and compassionate. When I don't speak a language, I listen for inflections and exclamations, it can help me understand the sentiment even if I don't understand the words. Very sincere and heartfelt is what I got from it. Well done!

I'm a 42 yr old man and 38 years ago, my biological mother left my sister and I (and dad) for drugs. It permanently changes you. I thought years ago that I had successfully buried my emotions on this...until I heard this song. I cried like a baby. The only reason I watch reactions to it is because I love to feel connected to other humans who can glimpse that pain. Soothes it a little. Also, I'm fascinated by your dual language reaction. Didn't understand a word of Arabic, but I loved listening to it nonetheless.

Love NF's music. Love this song. I've listened to it literally hundreds of times. Suggestion: LISTEN. EXPERIENCE the song and let the lyrics and performance evoke the emotions in u. Stopping every half verse is difficult to watch. The lyrics speak for themselves. They dont require an interpretation or explanation. They are raw and self explanatory. Good luck to u both.

9:11 Interesting perspective on the lyrics, "This isn't you." When I first heard it I always assumed that it was his mom saying, "This isn't me." as in she isn't a drug addict, but then the next lyrics say, "Couple weeks later, guess you were singing a different tune." meaning that she had turned back to them. But, I also understand why you felt like it could be his mom saying to NF, "This isn't you." referring to his music. Hmm... Interesting line of thought there.

Can I just say when he’s saying about the last conversation. You interpreted it as her saying the music he gave her to listen to isn’t him like she didn’t care about him or his music but what he is actually saying is “ a gave you something to listen to, you started crying saying this isn’t you” by this he means she’s crying saying her being pill addict isn’t the real her and she wants to change but then obviously she goes back on that and overdoses. Ps it’s so sad but then addiction is difficult. It’s hard to fight back for some people and unfortunately many lose the battle and that’s just as sad

Your reactions are amazing. I am not sure what NF Journey list you are using but, you are not on the Journey per say. You did Intro, Mansion, and then jumped to Therapy Session so you missed quite a few songs that are part of the story. I am sure you got a ton of request to do this song so it is understandable. But I have to say, we want to see the Journey because we want to watch you catch different parts of the story and put it all together. This will not happen if you jump around. The next trac after Mansion should have been "All I Have" which had a reference to his Mom. Here is a list: Manson album Intro Manson All I have Wait Wake up Notepad Paralyzed Can you hold me I'll keep on Therapy session album Intro 2 Therapy session I just wanna to know How can you leave us Real Oh lord Got you on my mind Statement Lost in the moment Wake up (single) Perception ablum Outro Intro 3 Outcast 10 feet down Green light Dreams Let you down My life Your specical If you want to know No name(single) And the The Search album should just be listened to in order and in entirety.
