Simon having a child old enough to gamble makes me happy for some reason… probably because when I asked my dad to play Halo with me he was running around looking at either the floor or ceiling… lol I guess Simons issues with holes isn’t so bad in comparison!

Never played legends, but played a bunch of gauntlet 2 as a kid. "Red warrior ineeds food badly. Red warrior is about to die." Is permanently scarred into my brain.

The first one isn't about killing Hades, its about escaping the Underworld and finding your mother. Yes, he's the endboss of every run, but when you beat him, he just goes back to the House of Hades (his personal estate in the Underworld) and you have a little chat with your mother, progressing the story, before you "die", because your body cant survive for long outside the underworld and also go back to the House of Hades.

Hades 1 is one of my favorite games. I would love more videos from you guys in Hades 1 or 2!

They said they played it before but they were so incredibly bad at it that they didn't even make it an episode and didn't bother with the game. I think they said they all lasted like 5 minutes each try

Actually Appsro, the door that you choose shows the symbol of which God you will benefit from. Also the door with a hammer boosts your primary weapon should you survive and there is a shop door as well. You will be given choices of doors, so choose wisely. ;)

Speaking of Elden Ring, you guys should pick it back up on the dumpster when the DLC comes out. I don't know if you quit because it didn't get views but you could get a lot of content out of it, if you play the whole base game plus DLC. They are going to HATE this game. (I'm shocked Appsro played the first one) there's so much dialogue as that was one of the biggest selling points for the first game (being able to play for 30+ hours and never hear the same dialogue twice) and we all know how much they hate listening/reading. EDIT: Roguelikes are often determined through the randomly procedurally generated worlds/items etc. You go to a randomly (in some cases a limited pool of randomness) you fight a random (again sometimes limited pool) enemies and get random powerups and proceed to the next one. Dying is usually not a big deal in them as the point is to unlock more stuff and get stronger the next time till you eventually break the game with being op

Ok, the story of the first Hades game. Your playing as zagreus the son of Hades and Persephone trying to escape the underworld again and again. The story of Hades two is a titan has taken over the underworld and your playing as melinoe trying to defeat them.

If you want to play this game for the story, turn on god mode. If want to play for the combat and difficulty, there will be a Hell Mode. It defaults to normal mode

Roguelike games are games with perma-death mechanics. Nothing to do with skills. Vampire Survival is definitely NOT a roguelike game, as when you die you retain any upgrades you selected after you finish a run. Roguelikes also typically have grid based movement and turn based combat.
