Another incredible performance by Lucy Thomas of another Chris Broom masterpiece. Lucy delivers this song and its message with a sensitivity, power and beauty that only she possesses, and her live performance is even more captivating than her studio recording. There is something magical about Lucy and her singing. She doesn’t just sing the words, she projects the emotions and meanings and gives wings to the written words. I listen to Lucy’s songs over and over again, and each time I hear and feel something new. I can’t wait for the announcement of the date of the Rosie opening, and will fly from New York to be there - hopefully for opening night. I’m 78 years old now - and took my granddaughter to London this past week to celebrate her 16th birthday - I am now anxious to return to London to witness the magic of Lucy Thomas. My final thought on this performance is that it is just further proof that Lucy Thomas is the most gifted and magical singer of her generation, and I think even past generations. And I would add that she seems to also be a wonderful young woman.

Lucy Thomas's musical career has been wonderful to follow,thanks to You Tube. Without You Tube, well, who knows ? If she lived 40 years ago, chances are she might never have been discovered like so many other wonderful singers. I look forward to her every song now. So,good for you Lucy ,keep singing ! This is now my favourite Solo from Lucy, especially now I've now seen her sing it live. As a duet my favourite is Hold On and can't wait to hear that performed live when Rosie comes to the West End. Vocal quality of this magnitude demands only the highest possible standard of material to work with and oh boy did Chris Broom deliver on that score.
