The badges on the RH barn door will help you identify what you've got. The T number is your gross weight, T26=2600kg, T32=3200kg. The numbers underneath identify your engine power in PS. If it's 5 speed it's either 85 or 105, 6 speed is either 140 or 180. Engine code is printed on the cambelt cover and on the sticker on the front page of the service book, 4 letters beginning with C. The other digits on that sticker are your colour codes and some of your build options. Your trim level is Startline, its short wheel base and it looks like it's got no extras and no nasty modifications other than the bumper which is the same from 2003-2013 IIRC. If the spare tyre has low tread on it, sling it underneath and it won't get nicked. If you look on eBay and Facebook people can't give sets of them away, there's so many of them for sale all over the country they're only valuable if the tyres are good. I'm looking forward to seeing how this Transporter series turns out, I was thinking about doing some videos on mine. I started working at a company 4 years ago that had a 2015 SWB Highline 140 as a parts/pool van. They threw me the keys to it on my first day, I fell in love with it and I badgered the big bosses to sell it to me every time I saw them. They finally let me buy it in March with 192k for a very good price, then they furloughed me and I spent those months degreasing the interior (used truck parts are greasy and dusty so it was almost as bad as your Crafter), putting in a Motexion bulkhead (essential if you're over 6ft tall), replacing all the broken/missing bits, replacing the wheels and suspension and now it drives like the new T6 that replaced it. Just need to get the bodywork sorted so I'll be interested to see what you pay. I've looked at the prices now and I can pretty much double my money if I advertise it today but I'm going to keep it, it's far too useful. Good luck with it and keep up the good work, loving the content.
Rob vw T5/T5.1/T6 transporters are superb I had one it had done 140k in 4 years when I got it.super strong engines/gear boxes. So popular now..your sell that no problem..good luck with it Keep the videos coming Excellent content 👍
Lovely little vans them Rob, when you clean it up, how about getting a small paint roller and painting the wood panelling in grey, cleans up all the scuffs, it don’t take long and the grey looks really good 👍🏼👍🏼
I hired a transporter when my mum passed away to empty her flat awesome Van's to drive you done good guys.

@andrew Stratford thank you kindly yeah I didn't want to give it back lol awesome van.
na i have had the same issue you had with the window switch, a lot of the time it has been left open while driving and the switch has got wet from the rain. Just take the button switch out the door and clean the switch circuit board, if there is some green electrical corrosion. Clean it with some alcohol based hand sanitizer or 70% or more IPA and a q-tip.
It's good to see you enjoying your work Rob and Chris, you make a great team. Cheers!
Loving the van content. I think the tow bar assembly gets in the way of the spare wheel carrier. Nice one guys!
Really like this series of videos guys, fascinated as you buy more of these fleet vehicles. This will be a really nice van when you have finished it. Great stuff!
Love you doing vw's you answered my question earlier in the year about mk1/mk2 golf's still got my fingers crossed.... Love this channel not missed one episode 🤞👍
Looks like an easy job for you and Chris to get done quickly. Loving the vids, keep them coming.
Rob & Chris, go easy on yourselves putting out the videos... loads of folks get burned out trying to do too many! Great content as usual .. I have a t4 .. great van!! All the best G...
This looks like a very well looked after van, it’s in great condition for its age, I do really like Volkswagen Transporters, they are stylish and quality workhorses!.
Rob fantastic video once again your pulling out all the stops to make this channel one that’s amazing, the transporter is one hell of a van and this is one hell of a channel, as soon as you upload you’ve always got me hooked, been here since day ☝️ and I’ll be here for many more years, all the best Rob and Chris !😎
Just had a catch-up of your videos, yesterday and today's. Perfect as usual 👍
Hi Rob & Chris, another great buy, looking forward to seeing you sort out the few faults. Cheers, Alex.
Super transit bullet proof. Should make a bit on this one. Great as always guys. You never spoil anything. I'm not focused on the background I'm focused on what you and Chris are doing. Very entertaining guys.
Just keep doing what you're doing Rob as its great stuff and very enjoyable here in Volgograd Russia. Great content thanks very much, this time next year you'll be millionaires !
Looking forward to seeing the outcome on these commercial motors. A new avenue rob
Another great find rob n chris just love the content you guys put out seems easy enough and I'm sure you'll smash it not literally but keep it up I'm addicted gonna start a salvage rebuild therapy group in the very near future BRILLIANT GUYS MORE OF PLZ 🤣👍👌
The van is amazing, but you two guys and this channel is freaking amazing too !!!!! Keep it up guys I’m loving this !!
Along with the other van, both diamonds in the rough. Excellent vehicles to turnaround and you did an amazing job on the first tar van. Great opportunities and great content as usual. Cheers 👍🏼🙂
Transporters are proper good news at the moment, hopefully more to come 😀
Top upload Rob and Chris, no need for normal TV at all now with all this content go at. 👍👍😎😎 The channels come a long way since it started up, it gets better and better every week.
Do the videos at your own rate, you work full time so any are a bonus. The miles on that T5 aren't anything to worry about, we've all seen T4's and 5's with the neck end of 300k and still selling for strong money so one with 170+ will sell strong all day long and its a good tidy example too.
Looks a good buy guys, clean hard working motor, buying the other tarmac van was a door opener to better things for you. Great content as always, keep them coming great stuff. Cheers
Those vans are great, you will have no problem making a nice profit, very sought after and they are in great condition, they still got years of working life left in them. Enjoying all the vids keep doing what your doing its great.
Cracking video - brilliant van, excellent series. Most interesting fantastic content. Well done Rob!
Loving your work guys. Don't kill yourselves though. You still have a business to run. I'm sure everyone will enjoy whatever you put out for us. Take care .
I work at a Volkswagen van centre and people are going crazy for VW vans at the moment! Looks like a nice little Transporter that 👍🏻
Another great video lads 👍 keeping us entertained throughout lockdown 😉
Just bought a t5 2006 t30. Was last used as a plasterers van ! Will be watching this vid with interest while I use my van to move house, use to pick up building materials for my new house. Then I'm turning into a camper hopefully!
Loving the mixture of content guys keep em coming 👍
Thanks for doing these videos. Great stuff and I’ve learned a lot from you guys. Keep on keeping on 😊👍🍷
Nice Clean little van mate love it always watching your videos absolutely love them
When you get it done it will be a good workhorse for somebody and like all your projects it will be done correctly so the new owner can have confidence it wont let them down. Nice one lads.
Got the makings of another cracking van for someone. Love your videos.👍
Owned one such in the long version, a T5 2,5 liter TDI automatic, bought it when I was moving to the western part of the country from the east, it served me very well, fantastic van. You can drive it for hours and hours, not getting tired, seating position is brilliant. I put 17 inch special T5-suitable BBS-style gun metal aluminium wheels on it, it then drove even better. The wheels were made in Britain by the way, the T5 has a dedicated following in the UK. I was so sad the day I sold the VW. Unfortunately the carpenter whom I bought it from was not being honest, he said it had a small exhaust leak - yeah, right.. turned out to be the exhaust manifold that needed replacement, cost me 2200 pounds (20.000 Kroner here in Denmark), so it became an expensive lesson learned (the engine is so cramped in there, all sorts of bits had to come out to provide the access for the manifold to be exchanged, in itself a cheap part.. so, I certainly didn't make any profit there). The conclusion: The engine needs to be checked before a purchase, because there are many (expensive) hours needed there if anything has to be repaired down low.. hope yours doesn't give any issues. Thank you, great videos
Easy -peasy repair on this one, hopefully. Good van, bit of fettling and you have a good one. You two deserve the success, hard graft pays off.
Great buy guys looking forward to seeing you getting stuck into it 👍
You have hit gold with that company Rob, what a cracking van. Strip the backend out and clean and touch up them sell it for a hell of a profit. From Fiats to VW’s fantastic.
Yup im one of those watching your vids while "working" from home. Loving the content 👌🏻
Great choice and good profit opportunity, these are everywhere in Cornwall & Devon mainly as lifestyle vehicles instead of SUV's. Colour code the bumpers & mirrors, factory alloys and a new ply lining and you'll be surprised what it will go for!

Indeed. There's a place near me that sells nothing but Transporters that have been fitted with wheels, bodykit and painted a bright colour. (My parents live in Dorset and it's awash with Transporters as (wind) surf vans as well)
Great to see you both buying these vans guys 👍
Hi Rob and Chris certainly is a nice van not like the last one should be a quick turnaround looking forward to seeing the next video 👌👍
I know its a lott of hard work for you and chris but we love watching the vids good job on cleaning the van in the last one
another cracking video & looking forward to new 1's on these vans, you'l soon be inundated with these companys vans , you'l not have time to clean them or give then the salvage TLC we love seeing you's giving the vehicles , keep up the good work 👍
Great van, glad you've got your in with this company. All good content 👍
For the mileage it quite a straight van and clean up nice 👍🏻
Enjoying the content keep up the good work guys 👍👍
Great find and looks good aside from the damage and the interior just wants a clean excellent work and thanks for the awesome content stay safe and take care
I remember driving one a touch older than the one you have and they are great mile munchers! You've done well to get a good contact, especially when you get your magic hands on them and make vehicles give you money once touched up to as good as new. The mileage is nothing if looked after and I remember you saying the company do mechanical stuff well, my 09 plate was on 326k last MOT apparently. Can't wait to see what else you've got! Oh and we're all human, don't worry about it.
these little vids keeping us on our toes Rob! 👍👍👍
Doing a great job you tow you waffle on but Great to watch keep Going. All the best Guys cliff
Little tip if you’ve got time.. the leccy window switch just need the carbon contacts cleaning with a bit of isopropyl. Had the same on my VX. Quick clean and it saved me £10 on a used switch 👌
always look forward to the content never disappoints
Another good video lads .. as always your both a credit to the motor-trade .
Great find will make great content keep up the good work can't wait to see the 2 vw vans completed top class lads
Had one as a company van when I was engineering did 240,000 miles in it lived in it nearly top vans good vid lads again 👍👍👍
Looks a cracking motor rob great viewing and hope you pick up more in the future
You can put a chequerd plate style rubber floor in it, I bought a roll of the stuff off ebay and just cut it to size, creates a really smart finish for no real time or money and covers any marks on the floor
The Transporter is a cracking Van. Had two myself, loved them. You guys are working hard to keep us all entertained. However, 3 vids a week it great content. Maybe shorter vids, with updates, and what's happening, what yr bought. And then longer ones with the full content.. Great content as usual.
Rob, the plywood sheets that vertically line the van walls, you could probably just turn them round if they have no damage to the other side.

Love the van, love the channel. Love the cheeky accents. You sound like cockneys to us Northern Lads! Hope business is booming, we love your content. Best on t'internet!
Well done rob and chris, another great van quick turnaround money 💰 in the bank lads.
I will turn into a day van did some windows in the back and turn it into a camper buy the tent thing for the roof! How are you go Rob I reckon do something with it, a little series maybe day van Monday!!!
Another VW van . Looks like you've sourced a good supply . Always in demand and a quick turn round = tidy profit. Looking forward to it
My dad had a blue transporter 16 plate lovely van my dad misses it so much now as it was replaced with a vauxhall combo so much smaller. Such a lovely van
Our daily is a T5 transporter se. Reliable, comfortable and eats miles. Love it
Great video, definitely a good move on buying the VW crafter. Hopefully you got your foot in the door and you can get some more ex fleet stock. Look forward to see you sort the bumper and door skin out.
Strong demand for vans due to online shopping growth. Reckon that will make strong money as well. Great investment buying the tar van. Got the door open for other vans. Great video and thanks both for all your efforts 😀
You just keep coming up with stuff all the time 👌👍
Awesome video and purchase guys! looking forward to the updates on this one :)
Awsome Van's if I had a daily van it would be this good content as always buddy
Hi mate on the front and rear bumpers, You can get 1k acrylic textured paint to refinish those in grey or black. Bumpers can be filled and primed as normal and finished with it. The texture looks OEM and wears pretty good. The product I use is from profix and is called CP 582. I'm sure there are similar products about. I've saved hundreds on repairing raw plastic bumpers vs replacing them plus its alot cheaper than colorcoding. Cheers👍
Brilliant news for your business with the new deal from that company. Also good news on the Transporter. Personally, I would clean it up and sort the side door and just use it.
Mechanic by day, KZreadr by night🤣🤓. Nice Motor again Rob. My boss has just got one recently, all pimped out. Around the same mileage.
Cracking video, let’s hope you can get a lot more vehicles from them.
Well done awesome video It will be good to make in to a camper van for a series. Brilliant
Had a transporter as a works van in 2013, really nice to drive. Can't wait to see what you will do with this...
The blue tint aviators, the gleaming white teeth the odd Ferrari, Old Tom cruise is getting worried I reckon.
Keep them coming Rob&Chris enjoyed last week
Not bad! I wish more of the vehicles in the states had manual transmissions. It’ll be nice to see you guys pop that rear bumper back out.
Do love a transporter. Can’t wait to see the finished van.
Very good business move, good flips. I dented my chrysler sebring bumper durning the summer a couple of years ago and a week or two later the bumper dent popped out by its self. So a little heat should do that corner dent.
Lots of people will be turning to delivering parcels in these tough times and this would be a nice little van for someone to start of with. Nice buy Rob , hope this company keep firing the vans your way .
Great video salvage rebuilds, great work horses those vans 👍👌😀
Looking forward to what you do with this and the crafter!
Absolutely brilliant Dave 👍👍
I am a year in with my Dental centre teeth Rob and I still smile at myself in the mirror often. They will feel stronger as time goes by these just feel like my own teeth. Actually better. Yours look spot on mate. Loving the vids
Yes I’m watching while supposedly working from home! 🤣
Have a feeling you might keep this! Not sure why, just feel you’re happy with it and could maybe do with one! Great little van, cane make them look super sporty if you wanted or just cheap fixed and quick turnaround! Keep it up, don’t burn yourself out!
Nice looking van. Should come out nice! Looking forward to seeing the numbers for it 👍
Great video guys. Chris is definitely turning into your glamorous assistant! 😉
Top van Rob and almost ready to sell on!
Nice van you picked, look forward to the next one on both vans
Hi Rob and Chris 👋🏻 This a red hot channel now 🤣 Vans galore lol 😆 Let’s get involved and clean it out until the next one 😆 Keep um coming guys cheers Stevie 😎
These are strong vans. I had one when I worked for Addison Lee and it took a beating. Good work horse.
