We built a absolute horrible gaming PC…. We can’t believe that we spent $725 on a dual core gaming system! We went through Newegg to find the computers parts with the least amount of eggs to put together a monstrosity of a gaming PC.

The front panel is solid so despite those fans there's no airflow.I highly doubt those fans are high quality. Also large fans like these have the same sized motor in them as other smaller fans so they have a tendency to fail and finding replacement fans is going to be pricey because most fans are 120mm and 140mm fans. EDIT: It was also stated that 200mm fans don't fit in this case so I highly doubt these fans are replaceable with same size fans as the fans probably aren't sold separately.

with a B460/560 Mortar mobo there, you can fetch hunting a 10600K for cheap, then throw that in and of course, GPUs like RTX 3080s for MAXIMUM VALUE
Ive never seen a GPU read at 0% usage while playing a game before......
You should sell a build with that case though... someone is gonna fall in love with the look of those front fans.

When I saw Silenos on the case box, I unplugged the internet and died 😂😂😂
a Towerfan on a Celeron CPU is probably the craziest thing in this build
As soon as I saw that Celeron box I knew what you were in for.
I don't understand why you say at 8:09 that an AMD RX 550 is slower than a GT1030 or equal to it, I have experience with both GPUs in my Xeon workstation and can say that this is incorrect. When I upgraded from a GT1030 to an RX 550 a few years ago, it was a very big difference in fps. A GT1030 also has a maximum of 2GB of VRAM and an RX 550 usually has 4GB of VRAM.
What a gorgeous door stop!
This video and the comments do not disappoint!!😂😂👌
12:58 😂😂😂😂😂😂 ahhhh ahhhh
The funny thing is you hypothetically you could combine 8 of those CPU's and still not reach the performance of an AMD 5600, or even an old xeon like a 2697 v3. this must only exists so that department stores have a lowest tier to sell to customers. Games like this usually are GPU limited somewhere around 300 fps. The above CPU's could manage 500-700 or more FPS on apex legends.
That was nice of you guys, to create a possible scenario if you will. of a new to gaming, beginners build, randomly grabbing different component's and just hope it works. That's happened numerous times to people. I've even made some mistakes on my first ever build. Back in early early 2000s. When Pentium 4 socket 478 Prescotts were popular.

Celeron get the celery boys we going to be feeding the tortoise 🐢😂😂😂😆😆😆🤣🤣🤣
Nice example of what not to build. How about a follow-up of the minimum upgrades to make this hunk o' junk a decent performer? Maybe start with the cheapest 4 core you can find and see if you can get that 550 running at capacity, then maybe a vid card that better matches the upgraded processor, with a couple benchmarks in-between. Use cheap ebay parts and call it "I inherited this piece of junk, what now?" Seems like that thing has some decent bones, just needs to be un-crippled. :P
You only ever need to populate 1 cpu power. The second is for overclocking basically so you can then draw max power using both.
The total cost for this build would make sense in 2020 lol
Anyone else think the RAM sticks are kinda sick looking? I love the flat black look.
The MSI board is similar to some ASUS products, they have either Taiwan or Chinese or Korean releases. I even find some that are cheaper compared to the US release version which is a bit weird.
Showing 24A on a single 12+ rail would indicate that is actually a 350 to 400 watt power supply.
You should make a video upgrading this pc part by part to see how the upgrades scales performance.
@BREEZYM6015

Would it be cost effective to do that? Everything would most likely have to be upgraded starting with the motherboard.

It doesn't make sense to even do this. It would honestly be an entirely new PC at that point minus the case, power supply and ssd. You'd have to get an entirely new motherboard to run a different cpu.
That power supply does a whole 288 watts on the 12 volt line, you know? That 12 volts we actually use. Putting 600 watts max on the side should be a crime.
I thought these days a RX 550 was a bit better than a GTX 1030 due to fine wine drivers. I guess it's kind of hard to tell in this particular case though
I don't care what nobody says. That case is dope af!

you should do a review on the RAIJINTEK 360mm AIO. i got mine off AMAZON and it looks good in my PC
Had a laugh at Slow AF G5900.
Genuinely criminal for that motherboard and CPU. You’re right, an i3-10100 is like $50 and a standard B460 should be like $100 absolute max (and you should be getting B560s anyway). Wonder how this is gonna appear on the shop lol
I have a 1200w Hercules PSU, but it's made by Rosewill, so a totally different PSU. 😅
MSI B460M Mortar wifi is/was one of the BEST B460 motherboards on the market. At the other house I have a 10850k on that same model mobo with one issue... the sound never worked out of the box but I use a DAC so i didn't return it. VRM's are overbuilt and can actually handle a 10900k and stay cool. Amusing video gents!
It would be fun to dump a real CPU in that thing and then see how it performs.
If this setup had even the i3 12100 and a 580 it would be a decent entry level system. That you could build used for what 250ish possibly less.
So the sleeved cable has Red, orange, yellow and then green colors and my man said German color. As a fellow German I can’t let that slide so easily.
Just spend the $85 on a 10100f, it's almost twice as much, but gives way more than twice the performance. Overall, just spend an extra $150-200 and get something WAY better, in fact, spend wisely, and you should be able to get something much better for the same amount of money.
These guys actually gave this PC away to me for 1 USD! is it the best thing no, but once I put this new CPU in it its honestly gonna be a nice system for retro gaming and movie streaming. love the case and those fans as well. if anyone on here is Kentucky based you should 100% come check out their shop.
That motherboard... i built my 10700f in that very same b460 mother board. It worked flawlessly. I retired that build and then sold it. The person i sold it to is runing it every day no problems. The power delivery system in that board is rock solid and so was everything else. Mine was bought localy tho. I paid 165 bucks at the time.
