From cleaning the basement to hanging with the kids, it's a true memorial day weekend as we open up our hamptons house for the season. We've been doing some work and adding value to our place, and it's just about to wrap up. We rent our house out for July/August every year and use that income to do the upgrades to the property we dream about. But then those dreams become reality. But with construction comes disorganiztion as the teams rip through the property to get their job done. So it's the time it takes to put it back together that gets me. But somehow it gives you a new wind to clean and reorganize.
