Thank you for opening up about your mental health Adam, most of us will struggle at some point in our lives & I love that the conversation is out in the open now. Very healing. I love the way you are both so open and honest, Lauren about the problems of getting things to fit, and Adam about what he had experienced with his mental health.. All power to you guys....and the conservatory looks fab!

May have needed a primer. Have to lightly sand between coats and use a tack cloth after sanding. Has to be done when the air is as dry as can be, when all the dew is gone and the temp is warm but NOT hot.

Yes the room is serving it’s purpose rain or shine! It seems to retain heat very well also… and yes that was Adam 😂

So impressed with the box seat making! 😍 We enter our boat at the front and it's nearly always covered in mud ...but very tempted to put nice cushions in there now

Cool, didn't realise the bow frame was squared off with the roof-line too, not triangular (like trad boats maybe ?)

You could of just made the ply on bottom and maybe top thinner to make fit as it was

What a lovely present August in January is, Totally good timing on that. I too can recommend asking for help with intrusive or unwanted thoughts - i reached out to public health, and the type of therapy by phone they offered, and the new therapy was so different, so 😊 that was a blessed relief. Lauren and Adam, your room is so warm and welcoming with that lovely piece of wood 🪵. Thanks for making it a learning time too. I would have had the same reaction to that piece. It's a joy to make your space beautiful and welcoming. ❤

Well done indeed beautifully finished room even in winter when sun hits it will be warm and here we would call it a sun room I’m sure that’s where you will find your little doggy sleeping all the time What a great spot for morning coffee or tea. ❤️from across the pond

That’s a great look and something I might copy for my dark blue uninspired well deck. Is it your main entrance? And does it look ‘weird’ from having a dark colour on the outside of the boat!

I've re watched this again. That table top. What about sun exposure. Would it fade? Lose its lustre in the heat of the sun. Is there anything you can do to protect it ? Even just a table cloth. Coasters for the coffee cups? Sun protectectant of some sort. Lacquers maybe.

Is it cold on a narrowboat what do you use to warm the boat up with?

Hello Fool (Adam) and also hello Lauren, I really don’t know where to begin to tell you the tale of how I found your channel such a mad mind blowing matrix moving coincidence a fella that I’m buying a new bike from text me asking if I was Adam? Which I am but not Adam Floating home as the guy put it but as I was watching the video I realised hey I know that fool, so hello old friend it seems that we developed very similar interests since we were last in touch such as Yoga, Boats and KZread I live on a few boats throughout the pandemic and really got the bug the good bug the boating bug and I’m just about to buy my own boat to work on for the apocalypse we must link up man the matrix has determined that, much love fool hit me back
