My mum got a set of those pots and pans for a wedding present in 1960 and I am still using them.

I am a Quilter and I repair old quilts. To clean then I use carpet cleaner with distilled water added I use it on everything except leather or vinyl. The more delicate the more I dilute it. The more rugged/ out door fabric ,heavier cottons/ polyester . It works really well if you spill spaghetti or chocolate or baby food it’s really good on those three items. If you do it quickly within 30 minutes of the accident it does really well.

In loving memory of our cherished dog stone bone brought tears to my eyes. I miss my Georgie Porgie so much. He went over the rainbow bridge September 15 th last year.. That Jurassic park lunch box got someone VERY excited didn’t it.

He’s buried in my garden surrounded by daffodils,his birth flower, and the emblem of Wales Tomorrow is going to be a hard day,he would have been celebrating his 12 th birthday.My sincere condolences on the loss of your furbabies 💔🌈💔

Been enjoying your content for a while. I highly recommend instead of having your second channel being called flip squad, change the name to Bearded Flip Machine. It goes along the line of your current name, which means it is infinitely more searchable. Whenever anybody types in bearded under the search box, It’s automatically going to populate both channels. You’ll end up with way more views and faster.

Great idea!

21:00 Sawyer makes a Permethrin product that protects you from mosquitoes and gnats. You spray your clothes with it and let them dry. It lasts through several washings. It works without you having to apply bug spray. It even works pretty well if you are wearing shorts and short sleeves.

That’s interesting. I have a product I love that is amazing of you happen to get bitten, and that’s Bug Soother (it is in a dark green bottle with white writing and spray top). I’ll look into the Sawyer product you’re recommending. Thanks! Sadly, I don’t think Bearded Thrift Machine (I forget his name) is going to see this comment, though. If you happen to catch them on a live or Whatnot sale, maybe recommend it there).

Loved the video, looks like you two had a blast and found great treasures too. Also, try Skin So Soft by Avon for the bugs…. Grew up lathering it on and they stayed away, disclaimer… we called it “skin so stinky” for a reason…but it works.

I like this 2nd garage sale, her prices were super and she wasn't having a sale to make a mortgage payment. Great deal on the wicker items.

I bought a similar brown wicker shelf for $10 and flipped locally for $150. Today I found a braille machine and authentic vintage nunchucks. Those will each go for $100+ and I paid $30 for a bundle that included those. You guys rock!

The revereware was worth it that clean. I sold a 7 pc set for $475. It was new in open box but any that clean sell high dollar.

Those vintage starter type jackets are cool. I have about 4 satin ones from the 70s ( Seahawks) and 80s ( Yankees and a navy one).

Man!! That old air cleaner would be magnificent as garden art. It looked like the head of a dragonfly.

If you don't already know... any wicker items regardless of the finish can be rehydrated. Clean gently, rehydrate with water, let dry in the shade. No direct sun. The wicker/bamboo/straw/natural fibers soaks in the water. Can be repeated. OK to use hydrogen peroxide as a basic sanitizer . I had wicker baskets that fit in a wood cubby that were dry & cracking. I rehydrated the 5 times over a week. They looked & felt brand new when I was done.

I have a wicker shelf with a mirror i got tired of the original color "brown" which is color before any paint i started painting light grey decided i didnt like that was gonna go dark green then it wouldnt match nothing anything you do people will know as of right now i still havent painted lol

Such a lot of cool finds you guys! I would hate to live in Gnatville though, wouldn’t be worth it to me! Just an idea, we use a lot of brake cleaner for stains. Anything grease or oil it works amazing on. On clothes and everything. Test it first where it doesn’t matter, but you’ll notice it smells like drycleaner fluid, I think it’s the same thing.

Great last video! Smart to rent the uhaul to save your purchase power. Mosquitoes like my blood, but didn't know gnats would bite. Miserable! The storm coming probably making them worse. I like those wicker shelves white, but good to know they can be painted a natural color. Great finds! Cat

The gnats he is being attacked by are called no seeums. They are very tiny orange boogers with a mighty bite.

Boiled peanuts don't go over for us above the Mason-Dixon line!!

A sm. spray bottle, a sm. bottle of real vanilla (3 oz.) and 3 oz. of water. Put it all together and shake and spray on your arms, head and legs. bull gnats as well as skeeters and ticks stay away. Bonus you smell good. BUT it has to be real vanilla.

The lesson I can take from yard sellers is: when they mention that they want to get rid of their item, then we bargain on the item and they don't give it. Which means they don't really want to get rid of their stuff. THAT'S A LIE...so keep up Bargain guys.. 😅🤣
