Why? The cars will only become rarer and more collectable with time and with proper maintenance and money spent into it, will hold better value in the future, I regret not buying one partly taken apart for 7k last year seeing the price of them now

Always really enjoy your videos, I'm not sure how you sleep at night juggling so many engine builds but you seem to have it well organised.I also appreciate (what customers miss ) the time it takes to do all of the incidental things like ordering and pricing with TPS ( I know myself daily), parts inventory, keeping the customer updated etc it takes up so many hours, I sometimes find doing the actual work itself the easiest bit & then you make time to post these videos, but you have it seems a good reputation and well deserved. Keep up the good work

Having bought a c5 rs6 you've made the right choice not getting one because of the very reason you stated. However, if you have the money I'd recommend buying one with the goal of selling it 6 months later for minimal loss. As its a dream car I'd be a hypocrite to say not to get one because I was dumb enough to pull the trigger. A regret but not as much of a regret of NOT buying it. I'm keeping my rs6. I'm it's last owner before the scrap yard. Do not do what I did. Do it differently, but don't not do it at all.

Yes, what you do on the second hand engines is totally justified. You also have your reputation to consider as well as customer satisfaction. Only two types of people should own these cars, those who are rich as hell to pay for the servicing and upkeep, and those few with the skills and knowledge who can do this work themselves. These cars seem to have design weaknesses built right in by Audi. If you can afford a brand new one, way to go, but if you buy a second hand one, all bets are off!
