hi Vladd!!!! this is one of my fav games of all time and I am psyched to see you playing it again!! here are some tips I recommend: - hunts are based on line of sight, so when you are trying to escape you need to break like of sight first before hiding or they will find you immediately. some ghosts have special movement so be sure to read the journal - spirit box must be used in the dark and I recommend always using it alone. stick to basic questions like "where are you" "are you angry" etc.the more you use it, the angrier the ghost will get, as with any excessive talking. this also applies to using their names. - you want to hide in obscured areas like closets, behind dressers, behind boxes, sometimes even behind walls, etc. each ghost has a hunting path they will take for each map in relation to the ghost room. make sure to turn your light off (toggle with T i think, or if you're currently holding it you right click) and all electrical equipment - use the EMF in areas where you get activity, like phones buzzing or radios going off, things moving etc. this will help you determine the ghost room faster - I also like to drop live EMFs on the ground in the ghost room, this helps keep me ready for any activity (especially hunts) - I try to pick 3 main lights to turn on that spread light throughout a map, that way I can turn on a single light as I go into a room and turn it off when I leave. this keeps the breaker from flipping. - I highly recommend using the in-game proximity chat, the immersion is way better!!! sooo scary - all ghosts can hear you and will recognize certain players. if you talk the most, they are likely to come for you first. pretty sure the AI monitors things like players saying where they are, or that they are scared - this game relies HEAVY on atmosphere and it is very likely you will miss a lot of ghost "signs" if your volume is low or if you aren't paying attention. I recommend gauging the atmosphere as you go, some ghosts need more encouragement than others

If you make a custom difficulty you can turn on All the "Cursed objects" to load in at once and see where they come in. They always spawn in at the same place, but the type is random. You'll also get more money for a picture of the object and a picture and taking the bone will generate more money. You also get a sick collection of bones in your display cabinet when you take them :D And in the store if you click on the item, it'll show you the lvl you need to be to get the next item. LOVE this series Vladd.. hope you get better soon. Hunting ghost while sick can't be good for you lol

I say it’s pointless to learn about the game now. After the update and devs using creators voices as spirit box, it screwed up the experience. Especially when the ghost is a make but you get a female voice response.

OH also they updated the sanity system! its in the patch notes, its sneaky, but pretty much, if there are lights on in the room your in your sanity wont drop, now big rooms like the gym, or big hallways it can differ, but regular rooms, stay in the main light (light switch) and no sanity drops, hope any of this helps in the future☺☺☺☺
