I tried this after watching your video. I have a mixture of branded and off brand curlformers. I noticed the branded ones rolled up very easily but the off brand I had to readjust your instructions because they kept popping out but eventually I got them to stay. Thank you for the cool idea!

Ridiculously amazing my hair is longer than my curl formers so I put it on the ends of an old blow out and I cannot stress how amazing it turned out and the curls lasted for 5 days.

Yeah, they are not as popular as they once were.

this method flattens the curl. The barrel size is increased by rolling the fabric onto itself..I would rather use perm rods or wet set rollers. But it's good to know. We can see the possibilities and an alternative function instead of having all kinds of rollers and sometimes too many rollers.

It does that for me when my part is too big. I have only 40 curlformers Wich is not enough for my hair, so I try big sections and then it get stuck.

Make sure the hook is pointing upward, like toward the ceiling. Also roll your roots almost like you are starting a bantu knot, gently. Perhaps make the sections almost the same size as the curlformer?

Flexi rods are better because they give you more control over how the hair is wrapped, so you know in advance if your curls will be great. You can also test to see if they are dry. With curlformers, you find out when you remove them.

I also wanna try your mousses, may i know how long this mousses can hold your curls? Without products my curls won't last long more than 1 hour 😭

My hair lasts a few days with mousse. Try a botanical gel like flax seed gel. My hair lasted a week with that.

That's wonderful! I'm glad my videos have helped you. I use spoolies, flexi rods, and perm rods. Flexi rods give me the most versatility and I can create different types of curls and waves with the same roller.
