What is fabulous is the number of podcasters from other clubs, genuinely pleased for both Ipswich and especially Ben, as his fine work and fairness with other clubs is reciprocated

Not only was 96 the highest points total for a promoted side, it is a new record for a second placed side.

Congratulations to the excellent team of Ipswich Town and there supporters, what an amazing night of football we both produced(hull city). What a great night , good luck xx

Watched Everton v Brentford before this match, what a bore fest. Hull v Ipswich turned into one of the games of the season, amazing from both teams and atmosphere

My first game was in 1957 seen great times and the bad time Ben to 1000s game and now back to the great time home and away thanks to all the staff at the the town we have r team back

It will hit us when the fixture list comes out. I was there at Wembley in 1978, saw all the Robson years of note, and was there again in 2000, but have to say, this is the most rewarding achievement emotionally, and the best team, and spirt in the squad, and around the club, we have ever had. We may never win the PL again, we may never with the FA Cup again or the Uefa Cup equivalent again, yet this team, is 'of itself' Hearing Alex say on the bus, that the players held a meeting to determine what they wanted from their pre season, was remarkable, and whilst survival is the priority next year, who knows what we can achieve in the next 5 years

I have only been on the pitch once - Oxford 1992 - and it was great. But had I been there I can only imagine that yesterday would have at a completely different level. Unfortunately I can no longer manage matches and was watching on TV. But I loved the images of the occasion. Thanks for conveying the atmosphere and your thoughts. Here's to a great return to the Premier League.

Well done Ipswich , always a soft spot as my Dad played 61/62 and great to see success return to the club.

I so enjoyed last Saturday it was such a special day thanks to Kieron McKenna and the team and everyone from the ground staff and kitchen staff for the promotion of Ipswich Town FC to the premier league in double quick time it’s wonderful

@@BlueMondayITFC I have no idea personally on how things will go in the premier league next season but as supporters of Ipswich the best thing we can all do is to not load up expectations on Kieron McKenna and the team whatever happens next season he needs to have his job guaranteed because we will not get a better manager we need to take as much pressure off McKenna and his team as possible next season will be tough enough without doing that we must remember not to lose sight that o lot in 2023 we Ipswich were 1st division and in a sorry financial state this is dreamland territory for us all let’s enjoy while we can whatever happens

I remember being told by the KOA people on here with Ben, that I was a little 'naive' when I said we would be in the play offs and could well be challenging for an automatic promotion place. Well, we did it!!!

Hey Guys, Simmo from Melbourne here. Wow what a ride you/we have all been through!! I remember the lowest moments during the last few years before game changer where I messaged you guys and thanked you for your tireless efforts thorugh some of the worst period/football we have all witnessed as town fans. Having been a seson ticket holder in the North stand through the late 90's and early 2000's I was lucky enough to see Town in the premiership twice and going to Wembley to see us promoted (still my best football day). We have all suffered so much waiting 22 long years to see this come round again. All the kids I coach down here all know who Ipswich Town is now and are excited for us too. Thank you for all your hard work and time devoted to us fans all round the world and keeping us informed and up to date with your thoughts and analysis which is always well balanced and intelligent put across! I will be back in September and hope to buy you boys a beer in the Greyhound celebrating the start of an amazing sesaon back in the top flight with a great squad and an awesome manager! Up the towen! You guys can have a rest now and Dave can go down the golf course! ;)

Thanks for such an amazing year guys! I was born in Ipswich and moved the NZ/Aus when I was 6/7 but always remained a blue as it runs thick in the family. Faith had wavered in more recent times, but it’s been so much fun getting back into it the past few years, and for us foreigners who’s mates get sick of chatting about Ipswich, you’re such an important part of the experience and helping me feel connected. My Monday mornings will be a little less bearable without you, looking forward to next year already! Uppa Towen!

Love it Joe!! We'll be hanging around during the summer (albeit maybe not as frequently) - so don't you worry! The summer will likely go really fast as the anticipation builds!

I predict Mckenna's style will change the Premiership. Having multiple goal scorers means you can never be sure where the threat will come from, as we've witnessed again and again. It wont surprise me at all if we tear up the Premiership.

As an old fan my early memories where my dad taking me to Wembley then a few weeks later the same squad went to Lowestoft for a testimony match, after the game the whole team came in to pizza restaurant near the ground, as an 8 year old it was amazing

It reflects well on the spirit in the group that the starting line up was so similar to the Exeter game in League One, but we mustn't kid ourselves that we were ever a League One team playing in the Championship. We were never going to struggle in the Championship and we looked on for an outside shout of the playoffs, but what they did was beyond expectations, but within the bounds of reality. Halfway through the season, I wasn't confident they'd do it, but I absolutely knew that they wouldn't fall away! Right now I have concerns for how we will perform in the Premier League. We might get a few hidings, but we won't wilt under pressure and I'm confident that we will recruit well and we have enough to fairly comfortably achieve safety.

In terms of championship players to buy...I would have thought Sammy S from Blackburn is an obvious choice.

The stat that surprised me is that we lost less home games this season than Leeds!

I think they were the only team to win at Portman road , other defeats were away from home , might be wrong but I’m pretty sure that’s the case

Hopefully we give contracts to Sam Morsy Cameron Burgess Vaclav Hladky Maybe Axel Tuanzebe stays but don’t no I think the rest will go which is no surprise but they all deserve credit and sone retired Hayes, baggott maybe couple others go on loan in summer

Great season for Town, but the Premier League can soon turn into a nightmare if you are constantly in relegation fight. But 180m quid helps.

Only got you on catch up guys and sorry not to see some of the BM team in the Greyhound after the match. But wonderful that your product never dipped over the last 9 years, even through the dark times. Amazing to be back and whilst we’ll struggle at times in the PL, wouldn’t have it any other way.
