As Amina (Anjana Vasan) tries to blend with the band (Sarah Impey, Juliette Motamed, and Faith Omole), her frustrations with men inspire the rock anthem they've been waiting for called “Bashir With the Good Beard."
Synopsis: "We Are Lady Parts" is an anarchic and irreverent music comedy following a Muslim female punk band - called Lady Parts - who are on a mission to find a lead guitarist and maybe, just maybe, get a proper gig. The music comedy series shows the highs and lows of the band as seen through the eyes of Amina Hussein - a geeky microbiology PhD student, who is recruited to be their unlikely lead guitarist. Amina has never, ever met girls like this before, and soon gets swept up in their joyful, anarchic energy and punk spirit. Will she be the key to the band’s success? And - will she finally find a husband?

Man, Lady Parts should be MUCH more popular. It's very underrated and is literal perfection in one show

I'm extremely late to the party. I randomly clicked on the thumbnail for this show and enjoyed every minute of what I saw. Can't wait for season 2.

Watched the second season, hoping against hope we would not be disappointed- it was better than the first!!! Villian Era just rocks and just hope this goes on and on like the solo:)

Bruh I’ve been trying for hours to figure out this song on the guitar but this video is just blurry enough that you can kind of see every few frets she’s pressing so I only have bits and pieces of the song figured out. So if anyone found the guitar tabs somewhere you’d be a life saver to put a link or something

The last news of season 2 was in NOVEMBER 2021! No word for well over a year! We need more of this show. We also need to be able to buy it. Dvd or Digitally, at this point I'll take either, I just want to own it & watch it at will.

It’s unclear sometimes whether or not she’s playing the music we hear (since part of it is pre-recorded for the sake of consistency. Listen to the soundtrack and you can tell it’s the same). But I can confirm that the actress definitely knows how to play guitar pretty well. We see her in other scenes playing acoustic guitar and I think those are the most reliable and it’s pretty accurate.

maybe she doesn't want to take it off and then put it back on for the public? Looks not so easy to arrange properly. But I do like the parts where she has her hair down esp when the daydream about how the article would turn out.
